Powers/Abilities:  The Mandarin had no superhuman powers but used ten mystical rings of an alien nature. Each ring had a different power, as follows:

"Ring #1 Occultism - circular reasoning inverts reality against itself, creating mirror-magics.
Ring#2 Gasoline - this ring of reality accelerates the Mandarin's personal space, once misunderstood to be super-speed.
Ring#3 Alcohology - possibly once owned by the master of the Drunken Master fighting tong, this ring looses the spirits of insobriety on the clear-minded.
Ring#4 Integration - tomfoolery and reality come together in a mesh of lost probabilities.
Ring#5 Disintegration - nothing can stand before its power. And nothing stands behind it. Except, of course, the wearer.
Ring#6 Voyeurism - plummets onlookers into the black and buckled dimensions of the taboo.
Ring#7 Mysterioso - smoke and mirrors live within this ring and fall into each other for all eternity.
Ring#8 Flame On - believed to be formed from an amalgamation of the artificial blood of the Original Human Torch and fool's gold, this ring creates artificial fire. It burns only manmade objects.
Ring#9 Blackness - this illuminates the depths of evil that lurk within all men.
Ring#10 Materializer - nothing is necessary for this ring to work. Literally nothing. Only in the void of thought, when it seems there are no alternatives, can this ring bring creation."

History: (Marvel Vision#13 - Timeslip) - The man who would become known as the Mandarin had his land and life taken away from him by Communist revolutionaries in China. Determined to get back his inherited land and return China to its traditional roots, the Mandarin sought out the ten mystic rings of refictionality in order to gain power enough to overthrow China's Communist rule. Upon finding the rings, however, the Mandarin instead used the rings for personal pleasures and self-indulgences by pitting the world powers against each other.

Comments: Created by Jim Krueger and Paul Pope.

The Mandarin's reality is an alternate Earth, as the ten mystic rings were completely different than the rings on Earth-616.
