History: (Marvel Vision#29 - Timeslip) - When Peter Rasputin discovered he was a mutant, he was quickly contacted by the Soviet Union and put to work for the Russian government. Seemingly fueled only by anger, every battle with Captain America and the Avengers resulted in Captain America pleading for peace, not realizing that the man known as Colossus was not fighting for himself but for the safety of his family.

Comments: Created by Jim Krueger and Greg Scott.

Colossus' reality diverged from Earth-616's Giant-Size X-Men#1 when the Soviet government contacted him about his mutant powers prior to Charles Xavier discovering him.

Profile by Proto-Man.
