Powers/Abilities: Silver Streak had the normal abilities of any other ant, including strong legs for quick movement, antennae for touch and smell, scissor-like jaws, compound eyes, and strength capable of lifting 20 times their own weight. Silver Streak also had wings capable of flight.

History:  (Avengers I#223) - When Ant-Man noticed Hawkeye running through Carson's Carnival of Traveling Wonders, he decided to help by calling to himself a swarm of flying ants. Shrinking down to their size, Ant-Man jumped on Silver Streak and raced to Hawkeye's aid. Discovering that the Taskmaster was trying to recruit the Carnival as a mobile training center for his goons, Ant-Man unleashed the swarm of ants to attack the Taskmaster's goons while Hawkeye and Marcella Carson, manager of the Carnival, fought back. When an explosive-filled mannequin was fired out of a cannon with the intent to destroy the Carnival, Ant-Man jumped onto one of Hawkeye's arrows and had him fire it at the mannequin. After defusing the explosives, Ant-Man leapt from the mannequin to one of his flying ants just before the mannequin hit the ground.

One could argue that Silver Streak would be behind the scenes in every appearance that Ant-Man used the aid of ants, but there's nothing to say he specifically used Silver Streak, so I'm only going with the appearances that I know that Silver Streak was definately in. Near as I can tell, Ant-Man never called an ant by the name of Silver Streak in any of his other appearances.

The picture I used was the only one was I know that the ant is definately Silver Streak. SS's name wasn't used anywhere else in the story but SS was one of the numerous ants that Ant-Man used throughout the story. Obviously, Silver Streak is the ant in this picture and not the costumed hero (who is obviously Ant-Man, and not an ant himself).

The publisher Lev Gleason had such a title called Silver Streak with the Claw and Daredevil.
