Powers/Abilities: The diminutive "Silent Rock" remains a mystery. Somehow threatening Earth, he was able to create giant rock warriors and somehow absorbed all sound and color from the world. The extent or nature of his abilities is unrevealed.

History: (Defenders II#12) – The Defenders (Doctor Stephen Strange, Hulk (Bruce Banner), Silver Surfer, Sub-Mariner) were transported to a gray and rocky dimension to fight a threat to Earth, and they quickly realized that they could not make any sound. While the other Defenders searched for the villain, Hulk was surrounded by giant rocky monsters and the four heroes joined forces to smash them. As they fought, they realized the color from the world was also disappearing. When Hulk accidentally stepped on the true perpetrator, the diminutive “Silent Rock”, color flashed back into the world and the Defenders were free to return home.
