History: (Eternals II#5 (fb) -
BTS) - Lugner was placed by Ghaur near Kro as his assistant, to spy on the Warlord
and possibly retrieve the object of power related to the Celestials.
(Eternals II#5) - The Deviant fleet arrived at the North Pole,
near the Pyramid of Winds. Lugner proposed to Kro to stay back because he wanted to be
the first to reach the hidden object, but Kro refused.
The Deviants avoided the winds protecting the Pyramid and opened a path
under the ground, with Lugner as vanguard.
Once in the Pyramid, Lugner activated the device which
contained the energetic pattern stolen from Ikaris. An explosion opened a door. Lugner now tried to enter the opened room before Kro, but Kro had him stopped by his soldiers. Inside the room Kro found a Vial.
(Eternals II#6) - Outside the Pyramid, on the beach, Lugner tried to convince Kro to give the Vial to the Priests. Kro declared that Lugner was a spy of Ghaur and sent him away.
Comments: Created by Peter B. Gillis (writer), Sal Buscema (pencils).
The Vial contained the life essence of the Dreaming Celestial, placed there by the Celestials after they defeated him .
