History:

(Daredevil: The Man Without Fear#4 (fb) - BTS) - The man known as Larks was nurtured and cultivated by the Kingpin (Wilson Fisk) to be a deadly and cruel killer. He took his place at the Kingpin's side as the Kingpin took control of New York's crime syndicate.

(Daredevil: The Man Without Fear#4) - Larks delivered an order to Clay, who was in charge of child pornography videos and drug peddling, that they were to cut costs. When Clay made a mess of things, Larks was ordered to clean things up. He killed Clay with a car bomb, then killed Sylvio with a shot outside his apartment. When he heard someone below, he opened fire, but the stranger escaped. Kingpin assumed it was a vigilante. Larks delivered the kidnapped Mickey to the child distribution center, where several kidnapped children were being kept. The children all started singing and Larks commended Julio, leader of Mr. Slaughter's forces, for the touch. A masked Matt Murdock then attacked.

(Daredevil: The Man Without Fear#5) - Murdock exploded the docks outside and defeated Slaughter's guards while Larks grabbed Mickey and ran for it. His car had been disabled, so he killed a cab driver and stole the cab. Murdock soon crashed into the cab, so Larks took Mickey and hid in a garage. He held a gun to her head, then fired at Murdock when he entered. Murdock was grazed once and knocked another bullet out of the air with his billy club. He demanded Larks put the gun down, but Larks fired again. Murdock hit the bullet with the club and it ricocheted, killing Larks.

Clay

(Daredevil: The Man Without Fear#4) - An employee of the Kingpin in charge of child pornography videos and drug peddling, Clay was told by Larks, the Kingpin's right hand man, that they needed to cut costs. Clay was initially upset but quickly reigned it in. He ordered Sylvio and his girlfriend to get a girl no older than 12 for him, promising that they'd get no more drugs until they did so. Clay heard that they got a 14 year old girl and was upset, promising them only half pay. He soon learned from Sylvio's girlfriend that Sylvio was planning to use the girl in a ransom plot. Clay left to take care of things, but his car exploded, killing him. The bomb had been planted by Larks.

Sylvio

(Daredevil: The Man Without Fear#4) - A low level worker of the Kingpin, Sylvio and his girlfriend helped Clay push drugs, though they were addicts themselves. Clay ordered them to kidnap a girl no older than 12 for him, promising they'd get no more drugs until they did so. They tracked a teenage girl, Mickey, and kidnapped her. Seeking drug money that evening as Clay wouldn't pay them yet, Sylvio decided to hold her for ransom. She called the girl's father, Glenn, and ordered six thousand dollars be delivered to the streets. Hours later, Sylvio retrieved the money, not knowing his girlfriend had reported him to Clay. The Kingpin's man, Larks, shot Sylvio through the head for his betrayal.
