Powers/Abilities: Karragan was aggressive but patient. He was armed with a flaming energy sword. He appeared to have accelerated healing and strength, as well as the ability to exist in space. It is unknown if these were innate abilities or the results of mutating augmentation to realize his quest for vengeance.
History:
(Fantastic Four I#520 (fb) - BTS) - Karragan's homeworld was consumed by Galactus. Karragan swore revenge on the world devourer and armed himself with an energized sword for a future conflict. He settled on a new world and then tried to attack Galactus' ship.
(Fantastic Four I#520) - Galactus silently dispatched his new herald, the Human Torch, now cosmically enhanced without his flame powers, but instead with those of his sister's. Karragan furiously and mercilessly attacked Galactus' newest herald. Using his newfound invisible force field powers, Johnny Storm was able to fend off Karragan's brutal slashes, warning him to back off. However, Karragan continued his attack and Johnny Storm, unfamiliar with how to utilize a herald's cosmic power, nearly sliced the alien in half. Appalled by what he had just done, Johnny used the power cosmic to stitch Karragan back together again, sheathing him in an invisible force field. His attacker was in shock by Johnny's retaliation and was unable to speak. Presumably via the power cosmic, Johnny identified Karragan's new home planet and then took him there, resting him on the ground. Karragan's body began to slowly throw off Johnny's force field with the sheath set to dissipate once he had healed.

It is unrevealed if he was actually the last of his species, as Galactus only destroyed Karragan's world, so there could be others living elswhere on other colonized worlds.
