Arabella lived in New York and usually rented the ground floor independent part of her house. The tenant left the flat without paying the last two months.
Frank Gianelli knew that Carol Danvers needed a flat so he put Arabella in contact with Carol. Arabella let Carol visit the flat.

(Ms. Marvel I#16  - BTS) - In the early morning of the next day, Arabella, still asleep, received a call by Carol, who accepted to take the flat.

(Ms. Marvel I#17) - About one month later, in the very early morning of February 14th, Arabella heard Carol screaming and thought that a burglar had sneaked into her flat so she went to find Carol and found her shivering and weakened. Carol confessed she needed company, so Arabella stayed with her for a while and Carol told her the story of her life.

(Ms. Marvel I#22) - Arabella helped the staff of "Woman" to organize a surprise party for Carol, after she was fired.
During the party she spotted Mike Barnett, who she liked, and greeted him but he left her alone to speak with Carol.
