Powers/Abilities: Jagatar uses mystic rites and astronomy to predict the future. He acts as the spiritual shaman for his people. The extent and source of his abilities remain unrevealed.

History:

(Ka-Zar Annual '97 (fb)) - The prophet man Jagatar of the Savage Land instructed young Miesho that a shooting star was the harbinger of a terrible evil. Miesho questioned him, but Jagatar insisted that this evil would be a danger to the Savage Land and that only Ka-Zar could thwart it. When Jagatar sensed a stampede coming, he warned those of his village to run. He and Miesho met Ka-Zar and told him that a great danger still presented itself. Jagatar and Miesho watched Ka-Zar's young son, Matthew, while Ka-Zar and Zira went to fight against Garokk and his Death Cult to rescue Shanna, Ka-Zar's wife. Though Garokk was defeated, Jagatar prophesied dark days for the Savage Land yet.
