Powers/Abilities: Infamnia was more machine than woman. Huge parts of her body were replaced by biotechnical appliances with metabolic circuitry. She possessed superhuman strength (level unknown), durability and was able to fly. Her gauntlets and the tentacles were fused to her body and nervous system which enabled her to use them like additional limbs. They were dangerous weapons that could carry the weight of several men and crush even steel.

History:

(Over the Edge#10 (fb) - BTS) - According to Halstead the woman that would become Infamnia was Gina Morris, a former employee at Halstead Labs. After a year working at the labs she told Halstead that she had cancer. She came to him for help and he gave her a treatment that conventional medicine wouldn't ethically allow by replacing infected areas of her body with biotechnical appliances, but he didn't stop there. He also fused tentacles to her body and turned her into a cold killing machine to get a contract with the military and cement his political career. Infamnia was hard to control and Halstead wanted her executed, but she escaped.

(Over the Edge#10 - BTS) - Gina wanted revenge and returned to Halstead Labs and set it on fire. She got away without a scratch.

(Over the Edge#10) - Infamnia attacked Halstead at his speech at West Side's Javitz Center in NYC. She had his bodyguards under control, but before she could get her revenge on Halstead she was attacked by Daredevil. She fought back and he was hardly able to avoid her attacks while she told him that Halstead had to be stopped before he controlled the whole country. Halstead got away in his limo thanks to Daredevil's ongoing attacks on Infamnia. With her hands tied up by Daredevil's grappling hook she flew away with the hero still hanging on. He controlled her descent to direct her into high voltage wires and she crashed to the ground due to an electrical shock. Infamnia told Daredevil that Halstead made her into this thing and then destroyed a metal tower to distract Daredevil from herself. Infamnia got away while Daredevil saved people from the falling tower.

Infamnia attacked Halstead again at a speech and took out his bodyguards first. Daredevil was already there, but Infamnia tossed a bodyguard at him before he could reach her. She flipped over the podium and Halstead told her that he would take her down like a dog, but Infamnia reminded him that he already failed once. Daredevil was back and saved Halstead from a lethal attack and then went on the offensive, but Infamnia's tentacles were faster and grabbed Daredevil and Halstead at their necks. Infamnia then brought them both to the next roof and talked about everything that Halstead did to her. Daredevil listened and then hit a tiny space between the segments of the tentacle that was holding him and got free, but the attacked caused Infamnia so much pain that she had to release Halstead as well. Halstead called in a helicopter to kill Infamnia and Daredevil, but they avoided the first rocket. Infamnia then grabbed the helicopter and directed it into the neighbouring building. She grabbed Halstead at his feet and was going to drop him to his death, but Daredevil convinced her that the law would handle him and that she was still human. When Daredevil called her by her real name she pulled Halstead back onto the roof. She stayed on the roof while Daredevil brought Halstead to safety. An explosion buried Infamnia, but Daredevil returned and saved her from the debris.

(Civil War: Battle Damage Report) - Tony Stark considered Infamnia as a potential Initiative recruit.

CLARIFICATIONS:
Infamnia has no known connection to:

Everett Halstead

Halstead was the boss of Halstead Labs and the popular third party candidate for the U.S. presidency. He turned Gina Morris into the killing machine Infamnia to get a contract with the military and the money he needed for his campaign. When his lab was set on fire by Infamnia he went back into the fire to look for others (or maybe to see if Infamnia was dead). Daredevil rescued him and an employee named Chester from the fire.

Rosalind Sharpe wanted Halstead as a client and Murdock was okay with it (Foggy wasn't). Halstead met with Sharpe. Before the meeting Halstead lied to Murdock about the fire and although Murdock knew that it was a lie he still believed that Halstead was a good man. Later Halstead was attacked by Infamnia at a speech at Javitz Center, but Daredevil interfered and Halstead fled in his limo. Daredevil found Halstead's suite and the politician told the hero the alleged origin of Infamnia. Daredevil asked Halstead to stay out of the public for a few days, but Halstead wanted to continue his campaign.

The next day he held another public speech and this time outside. Daredevil watched it until Infamnia attacked. She took Halstead and Daredevil to a nearby roof and Daredevil got the chance to hear her part of the story. When Halstead escaped her grip with Daredevil's help, he ordered an attack on Infamnia and Daredevil. It failed and Infamnia was ready to kill Halstead, but Daredevil convinced her not to do it. Halstead was brought to safety by Daredevil and then had to watch how Infamnia was saved by the hero as well.
