(New Warriors I#5) - Robert Hanklin was rather young; nonetheless, Stane International put him in charge of coordinating an important project in the Philippines.

(New Warriors I#6 (fb) - BTS) - There, Stane International built a missile base and illegally launched a rocket ship full of toxic chemical waste at the moon, where it impacted in the Blue Area where the Inhumans lived. Stane International wanted the city and the waste would be an effective way to remove the occupants.

(New Warriors I#6) - Hanklin, foreseeing trouble from superhuman activists like Star Thief, used some Mandroids as private guards of the missile center. In fact, the night of the launch, Star Thief tried to destroy the rocket, but the New Warriors reached the base to stop the terrorist. However, Hanklin didn't want there to be any witnesses to the base's activities, so he ordered to the Mandroids to kill the New Warriors. After the young heroes defeated the first team of Mandroids, Hanklin briefly spoke to them, just before unleashing another team of bigger Mandroids against them. In the fight, he ordered the missile's launch, although it was not ready. The missile took off, taking with it Namorita, Firestar, Marvel Boy and Star Thief.

Menaced by Nova's rage, Hanklin confessed to Stane International's plan to take over about the Inhuman city of Attilan. He stopped the New Warriors from going away, trying to give them the responsibility for the disaster at the base, but one of the Mandroids convinced him to give his thanks to the heroes who saved them from Star Thief and helped to put out the dangerous fires caused by the rocket's unplanned early launch.

The next day, the rocket carrying the deadly cargo was destroyed by the combined powers of Black Bolt, Firestar and Star Thief.
