History: (What If? II#10) - At some point, the Thing decided to become an Elvis impersonator, gaining a fan-following amongst women.
Comments: Created by Steve Ringgenberg, Rodney Ramos, and Henry Candelario.
The divergent point for this reality was difficult to determine. I'd place it right after Fantastic Four I#1 (1961), since he had become the Thing. Since he was called the Thing, I'd also place it after the Fantastic Four had formed since he didn't choose the name of the Thing until the FF decided to band together. So at some point after that, the Thing decided to become an Elvis impersonator. Maybe he thought his rocky exterior made him look like the King?
