History:
(X-Men Deadly Genesis#4/2 (fb)) - Young Gabriel Summers was trained as a servant/slave on Earth, and was treated kindly by the old Dai’andral. She gave him a book on Roman mythology, and he grew to call himself Vulcan from that. When his energy-manipulating powers manifested, he accidentally killed Dai’andral, then later used his powers to escape. Before her death, Dai'andral worked at the Shi'ar Earth base for Davan Shakari (who later posed as Eric the Red).
