History:

(Wolverine III#44 (fb) - BTS) - Three members of the Atlantean royal guard, Amir, Janus, and Paul, were sent to Earth to live as normal humans and with no memories of their pasts. These sleeper agents were meant to be utilized at some point in the future. Amir and Paul posed as a married couple in Port Washington, New York.

(Wolverine III#45 (fb) - BTS ) - Amir left her husband, Politus, in Atlantis.

(Wolverine III#44 (fb) - BTS) - When Namorita, Sub-Mariner's cousin, was killed by Nitro, Sub-Mariner activated Amir and Paul.

(Wolverine III#43) - Amir and Paul found Janus in Florida and reawakened his memories. They tracked Wolverine, who was out looking for Nitro as well, killing a human they'd questioned along the way.

(Wolverine III#44) - The three Atlanteans watched from the bushes as Wolverine battled Nitro in Big Sur, California. They reported into the Sub-Mariner, who ordered Wolverine dead if he interfered. Janus leapt in at Wolverine, who drew his claws and the two of them battled across the woods. Paul and Amir asked Wolverine to stand down, claiming they only wanted to take Nitro and had no quarrel with him. When Nitro tried exploding, Paul hit him with a charge and tried restraining him. Nitro hit Paul with his elbow, but Paul and Amir fought Nitro while Wolverine fought off Janus. Nitro managed to get Wolverine in a headlock, and Wolverine tossed Nitro into the others. When Wolverine questioned the others, Janus revealed himself as Atlantean just as the Sub-Mariner arrived.

(Wolverine III#45) - When Wolverine stabbed Namor through the chest, Janus rushed to protect him, but Wolverine pulled off Janus' breathing mask, leaving him gasping for air. Wolverine then tossed the unit into Paul, who reverted to his true form and was knocked out. Amir held Nitro with a blade to his throat while Namor knocked Wolverine out. The Atlanteans then fled with Nitro. Wolverine soon pursued them to Atlantis wearing a suit of Iron Man armor. Janus attacked him, but was easily defeated. Wolverine, Namor, and Amir went to question Nitro, who had killed Amir's husband, Politus, who'd been sent to question him. As Politus died, he was able to reveal that Walter Declun had been behind the increase in Nitro's powers, which he'd learned earlier. Wolverine chopped off Nitro's hand, but left him to the Atlanteans.

(Wolverine III#47) - Janus and Amir, in their human guises, aided the wounded Wolverine against men in battle armor, including Eddie. They easily defeated the villains, but the Sentry (Bob Reynolds) then burst in with a contingent of SHIELD guards. Wolverine was captured, but the Atlanteans were let go due to their diplomatic immunity.

(Wolverine III#48) - Amir later went to Wolverine and they became sexually involved. He told her all about how difficult it was for him to heal and come back whenever he was hurt or killed. She changed back to her Atlantean form and did her best to comfort him.

(Wolverine III#57) - Amir helped Wolverine on a covert mission in Iraq. After slaying an agent of the organization Scimitar, she kissed Wolverine, removing her breathing mask for a moment. As she commented on how odd human combat was, she found information on Scimitar on their computers, discovering their target was Tony Stark of SHIELD. She piloted a ship to help Wolverine save Stark. She soon joined him on the Helicarrier and shot down a dangerous agent. Shogun, working for Scimitar, impaled her with a shuriken, instantly killing her.

(Wolverine IV#2) - Amir was one of the many souls under the Devil's control that Wolverine fought.

(Love Unlimited Infinite Comic#23 - BTS) - When Wolverine was targeted by the vampiric Annika he was accosted by illusions of women he'd been romantically involved with. As such Wolverine experienced a scene in which Amir appeared alongside Charlemagne, Gahck, Yukio, Rose and many others who taunted the X-Man while Annika fed on Wolverine's memories.
