History:

(Daredevil I#247 (fb) - BTS) - The man who would become Agent Crock had a tragic past.  As a child, he sought to adopt a small crocodile he found, but his mom flushed it down the toilet. In grade school, Suzy Hughs asked him to kiss her, but when he did she screamed and the other kids teased him. Later in life, he dated Mary, but he kept making her prove her love. At one point, he threatened to jump off a cliff, and stated that she would save him if she loved him, but she walked away. Retrieving his body after he jumped off the cliff, Project: Reptile performed experiments on Crock, preparing to send him out after Black Widow, who had recently failed the project, but Crock pulled himself free before they could finish the experiments. He wandered the streets, replaying memory after memory, slowly taking himself toward Black Widow.

(Daredevil I#247) - In the sewers beneath New York City, Crock was surrendered by crocodiles. Frustrated by his childhood memories, he beat one back with a stick.

(Daredevil I#247 - BTS) - Agent Crock found Black Widow and hurt her before she fled to Daredevil for help.

(Daredevil I#247) - Crock went to a Laundromat, where he saw a white dress, making him think of Mary. He grabbed the dress and returned to the sewers, where he remembered Mary. He then toggled the wire that reminded him of Suzy Hughs and he tracked her down in her flower shop, wondering why she had done that to him as a child. He returned to the sewers and Black Widow and Daredevil attacked. Black Widow, scared, waited while Crock took down Daredevil with his superior fighting skills. Black Widow then prepared to defend herself, toggling Crock's memory of Mary as he nearly fell off a wall. She pulled him back, allowing him to feel healed from that portion of his past. Crock was not aware that the scientists, including Forbes, were monitoring him.
