History:
(Thor I#314 (fb) - BTS) - Shawna Lynde graduated medical school alongside Donald Blake, both apparently cum laude (with honors).

(Thor I#314) - Shawna called Don, asking him to attend, or perhaps even speak at, a seminar of new surgical techniques and procedures she was organizing. After learning that he had shut down his practice, she asked him to stick around for a few days so she could show him around Chicago.

(Thor I#319 (fb) - BTS) - Shawna showed Don around Chicago for two weeks.

(Thor I#319) - Shawna complemented Don on his refreshing back-to-basics lecture, after which they had dinner together and Shawna invited Don to stay in the city, offering to help him get his practice established. They visited the University of Chicago campus, where they happened across the filming of the Zaniac movie, during which an accidental explosion briefly knocked them both out, after which Shawna was abducted by the newly mutated Zaniac. Thor saved Shawna from certain death, after which he saw her to the police for further care.
Later, after Thor had defeated the Zaniac, Shawna was happy to see that Don was ok; they embraced as Don told her he had decided to stay in Chicago.

(Thor I#320) - Shawna and Don attended the Field Museum of Natural History's Viking Exhibit, during which time they were exposed to the magic of Rimthursar's Silver Chalice. Shortly thereafter, while Shawna was helping Don get his office set up, Shawna was one of five people transformed by Rimthusar's magic into the members of his Menagerie, with Shawna becoming Kyrie. With the rest of the Menagerie, Kyrie got into trouble by messing with the mortals.

(Thor I#321) - As Kyrie, Shawna got into more trouble with mortals, briefly traveled to Bifrost, and opposed Thor under Rimthursar's spell until Rimthursar was defeated by Thor.

(Thor I#322) - As Kyrie, Shawna traveled to Earth and assisted Thor in foiling a plot of the Wolflings to disgrace Odin. In gratitude, Odin returned the Menagerie to their human forms, erasing their memories of their supernatural experience, and Thor brought them back to his office where they went about their normal lives.

(Thor I#326) - Shawna and Don attended the Egyptian exhibit at the Field Museum. As she didn't know that, as Thor, he had already seen the exhibit during his recent encounter with the Scarlet Scarab, she couldn't understand why he seemed so unimpressed.

(Thor I#328) - Shawna invited Don to attend the electronics convention at McCormick Place, but he declined as he was trying to help Sif adapt to life on Earth. Shawna went by herself, and she strained her back during the subsequent rampage of Megatak. Thor defeated Megatak, and when Don came to check on Shawna, she gave him a big hug, earning the ire of a jealous Sif.

(Thor I#329) - Shawna visited Don's office, where she met Sif, who was posing as Don's cousin. She tried to set "Sybil" on a double date with Dr. Glen Davis, a handsome new neurosurgeon, accompanying herself and Don, but Don turned asked for a raincheck. Shawna happily agreed to Don's request to take "Sybil" shopping, but "Sybil" turned her down. Shawna left, giving Don a kiss on the cheek and telling him that if he didn't call her soon that she would have to go out with Dr. Davis herself.

(Thor I#334) - When Keith Kincaid had stories of the disappearance of nurse Jane Foster while she had worked for Blake, Shawna called him up to see what was going on. When he tried to brush it off, Shawna told him that she had almost forgiven him for not calling her in eight days, but now she had had enough. She told him he could try to call her when it was good for him, and that she might let her secretary put him through to her.

(Thor I#354/2 (fb) - BTS) - With Blake having disappeared for months (he had actually ceased to exist as Thor had removed the ability to take his form from Mjolnir), Shawna hired a private investigator to track him down. The investigator told her that S.H.I.E.L.D. (Supreme Headquarters International Espionage Law-enforcement Division) might have been involved, but in the end he returned her retainer and quit looking.

(Thor I#354/2 (fb) - BTS) - Shawna, Nurse Stevens, and Blake's secretary Brenda Barclay met to discuss what to do with his business and office.

(Thor I#354/2) - Fandral appeared before the three women, flattering and dazzling them while telling them that Blake had been called away on a mission for the government and that he might never return. He gave them a large bag of gold to sell to pay all of Blake's debt. As they left, Fandral made it so that none of them would would remember Blake in their waking lives, though their dreams would always be colored by the radiance of his presence.

I forget if there's anything more than the magic of Odin to explain how people remember Don Blake as part of their lives when he was a creation of Odin. That being said, since Blake was created as a medical student, he certainly could have graduated alongside Shawna.
