History: Very little is known about Lymondo's background.

(Sub-Mariner I#44 (fb)) - Under unknown circumstances, Lymondo formed an alliance with Tiger Shark.

(Sub-Mariner I#43 (BTS)) - Tiger Shark formed an alliance with Llyra and the two of them planned to vanquish the Sub-Mariner.

(Sub-Mariner I#44) - Lymondo asked Tiger Shark if they could kill Llyra yet as her prattling annoyed his ears.  Tiger Shark refused, stating that Llyra still served their purpose.  Llyra found Namor through the bioscope on their ship.  Llyra sent a magno-beam beneath the seas to awake the sea monster, Krago.  While Namor and his ally, the Human Torch, battled Krago, Arliss tried to snag Namor in a tractor beam to bring him aboard their ship, but got the Torch instead, whom they spit back out into the ocean.  Lymondo was furious and wanted to kill Llyra again.  The Torch's heat affected the ship's controls, and sent it plummeting when it was caught by a thrashing Krago.  The ship crashed beneath the waves and sunk to the ocean floor.

(Sub-Mariner I#45) - Llyra shone the Lemurian Crest over the Boston Harbor to draw Namor into a trap, not knowing that the Human Torch, Stingray, and Diane Arliss would also come to investigate.  After Tiger Shark failed to subdue Namor, Lymondo again threatened to kill Llyra.  Llyra kidnapped Diane Arliss (Tiger Shark's sister), and used a Mind Vortex to pull information out of her mind regarding the location of Namor's father, Leonard Mackenzie.  Lymondo and Tiger Shark then went and retrieved Mackenzie, taking him from his nursemaid, Sara.  Soon, they released Diane and greeted Namor when he arrived to save his father.

(Sub-Mariner I#46) - While Tiger Shark battled  Namor, Llyra held Lymondo back until she had Lymondo push both Namor and Tiger Shark into the sea.  Lymondo agreed, thinking he was aiding his master, but not knowing Tiger Shark had lost his ability to breathe underwater well.  Llyra realized their mistake, and knocked both Namor and Tiger Shark unconscious with an electric blast.  Lymondo donned diving gear and a net and retrieved the two while vowing revenge on Llyra someday.  Lymondo watched as Tiger Shark's powers were restored by draining power from Namor, then tossed Namor and Mackenzie into a cell.  When Stingray attacked, the ship started sinking and Lymondo used a gun to try to stop Namor from escaping.  Namor quickly defeated Lymondo with a series of blows.  Lymondo may have been killed when the submarine sunk.

Comments: Created by Gerry Conway, Marie Severin, and Jim Mooney.

These events were recounted in Saga of the Sub-Mariner I#10.

Lymondo's introduction was rather abrupt and was never really explained.  His origins, his connection to Tiger Shark, and the reasons he wanted to kill Llyra so badly (and repeatedly) were never touched on.  Outside of a few sparring panels in Sub-Mariner 46, Lymondo really didn't do much at all, and was never brought back again.
