Powers/Abilities: Koto was a large, hulking android with superhuman strength. It carried a knife around its waist.
History: (Tales of Suspense I#61) - When Iron Man invaded his castle in China, the Mandarin subjected him to hypnotic lights, then sent Koto to deal with him. Iron Man recognized Koto as an android and went to attack it, but at the last moment, was influenced by the hypnotic lights into thinking that Koto was a human, and pulled back. Koto used this opportunity to strike him down, knocking him unconscious. The Mandarin had Koto strap Iron Man to an energized wheel, then ordered it to return to the castle's dungeon and dismantle itself until it was needed again.
