Powers/Abilities: Jack Kaper was a combat veteran, and was a skilled detective.
History: (Marvel Super-Heroes III#13 (fb) - BTS) - Jack Kaper served in Vietnam (topical) with James Rhodes, and became a private detective after leaving the service. When a number of gold shipments meant for Stark Enterprises were hijacked, Rhodes offered up Kaper to Stark as a solution to the problem, and they put him on the case to find out who was taking the gold. Kaper traced the missing gold to Greeece, but came too close to the operations of the man responsible, Mordecai Midas. Midas had his men shoot Kaper while he was driving his car, and the car went into the waterfront in Athens.
(Marvel Super-Heroes III#13/3) - Iron Man recovered Kaper's car from the water, and found Kaper's dead body inside. His body was taken by medical staff, and Iron Man went on to investigate Kaper's death himself.
