History: (Marvel Universe Millennial Visions 2001 - "The Asgardians: Dance of the Hypergods" (fb) - BTS) - The Hypergods were created by Chaos Magic.

 (Marvel Universe Millennial Visions 2001 - "The Asgardians: Dance of the Hypergods" (fb) - BTS) - When a cosmic hurricane began to ravage Asgard, the Asgardians worked together to halt its progress. During the chaos caused by the hurricane, Loki manipulated the chaos magic to release the Hypergods from their sleep, given that the Asgardians were preoccupied and were not striving to contain the Hypergods as they normally would be. After their release, the Hypergods began consuming anything and anyone who stood in their way. Lady Sif soon learned of Loki's plan and attempted to warn her husband, Thor, but before she could do so, she was also killed by the Hypergods. Thor, overcome with grief, allied himself with the Warriors Three and tried to destroy the Hypergods, but he and the Warriors were also slain. The foursome ended up in Hela's realm, where they fought to escape and return to the war-torn Asgard.

 (Marvel Universe Millennial Visions 2001 - "The Asgardians: Dance of the Hypergods") - Loki and a legion of Hypergods prepared for when Thor and the Warriors Three made their way back from Hela's realm.
