History: Unrevealed

(Cosmic Powers Unlimited#5/2) -  When the Uni-Power tried to leave its then host Roland Taylor, the voices in Taylor's head had now regained their control, and held on to the Uni-Power, remaking Taylor into an all-new Captain Universe.

    A trio of Enigma Hunters arrived on Earth from the Microverse, having traced the Uni-Power to a site from which Taylor had departed only second earlier. One of their number locked on Captain Universe's energy trail, promising they would have him in no time. The apparent leader announced that a balance had been upset and must be righted, while the third stated, "The Uni-Power must be transferred to the next designated recipient--and if the current one won't surrender it, we will take it from his dead body!"

It was likely hoped that Taylor's story would continue as a regular back-up feature in Cosmic Powers Unlimited, but as #5 was the last issue, the Enigma Hunters never reappeared.
