History: (Wha...Huh?/11 (fb)) - After seeing Brian Michael Bendis' idea of Stan Lee writing Ultimate Spider-Man, Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada realized that Brian had Stan Lee do an exact reprint of Amazing Fantasy#15.

 (Wha...Huh?/11) - Joe Quesada phoned Brian Bendis at his office, where Bendis explained that it was a big joke if they had Stan Lee do an exact reprint of Spider-Man's first appearance. Quesada informed Bendis that it really wasn't funny at all and then discovered that Bendis had billed Marvel for Lee's pages, despite them being reprints. Joe then angrily explained to Bendis that he was going to get Jeph Loeb to write Ultimate Spider-Man instead of Bendis, to which Bendis attempted to explain how he was in love with Joe. Joe quickly hung up the phone.

No writer was credited with this story, but given that it focused on Brian Bendis and Brian Bendis was credited as a writer on various stories in Wha...Huh?, I thought it very likely that Brian Bendis wrote this. Jim Mahfood did do the art.
