Powers/Abilities: Shu Han is an accomplished physicist and Olympic gold medal track and field winner. History: (Avengers I#204 (fb))- When Shu Han was a child, her father was visited by an agent of the Yellow Claw, who arranged to have her sold to the Yellow Claw as a wife at a time of the Claw's choosing. As Shu Han grew older, she became a gold medal track and field winner in the Olympics, and won a Nobel Prize in physics, all of which served to convince the Yellow Claw that she would be a perfect bride.
(Avengers I#204 (fb, BTS))- The Yellow Claw sent some of his agents to bring Shu Han to his island in the South China Sea, to prepare her as a potential bride.
(Avengers I#204)- Frightened, Shu Han managed to get out a distress call to the Avengers, requesting their aid. The Avengers stormed the Yellow Claw's island and confronted him over her. After Shu Han explained her position, the Yellow Claw revealed that he did not want an unwilling bride, and released her from his care, allowing her to depart with the Avengers.

Shu Han was said to have been a gold medalist at the 1968 Olympics, and the 1974 Nobel Prize winner in physics, but those are clearly topical references.
