History:

(Marvel Comics Presents I#38/3 (fb) - BTS) - With the help of Michael Berengetti and his business friends Brian Newman got started in the music business. He soon had a record contract and was set up with the right people. In six years twenty-eight million Brian Newman records were sold and he had eight top ten songs in a row. But Brian never liked the music he had to make because he was under other people's control. He stopped performing and started to write a symphony that should become his masterpiece. But his label wanted him to perform his hits and didn't care for his symphony. Brian hadn't performed in the public for five years.

(Marvel Comics Presents I#38/3) - One day Brian was visited by Joe Fixit because Mr. Berengetti wanted to surprise his wife with a Brian Newman concert. Fixit tried to talk Newman into performing at Berengetti's casino, but Brian explained him his situation and his plans with the symphony. Fixit was the first who wanted to hear the symphony and he liked it. It even made him smile and so Fixit called Berengetti and told him that Newman wouldn't perform now because his symphony wasn't done yet. But Fixit promised that Newman would perform the symphony first for Berengetti when it was done. Fixit then left Brian Newman's apartment and the musician who loved his music continued to work on his symphony.
