History:
(Marvel Comics Presents#168/1) - Dr. Muller went to the media weeks after he got a skeleton from a nomadic tribe they had found in the Himalayas. It was not a homo sapiens yet it wore remnants of clothing and jewelry which meant that it was part of an intelligent unknown race. On TV he told the public that his country would finance a large expedition to the skeleton's finding side which the nomads described as a "crater of unimaginable proportions". He showed the reporter on a picture circa location of the crater and went on to speak about his assumption that the crater was created by a giant space-ship or a sunken city. He thought that it was his duty to find out everything he could from this crater. He hoped that he would find graveyards or waste materials from this race and just wanted to find out more about their history and their whereabouts. He wasn't concerned that someone else would be there before them because only he and his team knew the exact location and they were ready to be there within 48 hours. Gorgon, Karnak, Black Bolt and Medusa watched the show and got concerned about what the humans could find out about them through the crater their city left behind and how they would use their knowledge. Black Bolt, Gorgon and Karnak flew to the Himalayas and Black Bolt closed the crater by burying it under million tons of rock and snow before Muller and his team ever got there.

    I really have no clue from where Muller came from. Possibly Great Britain because the Himalayas are partly on former British territory and he was smoking a pipe, but Holland or Germany are also possible as well as most other countries found on Earth-616.
