Powers/Abilities: Inspector Korngold is an obsessive pipe-smoker, but a capable detective.
History: (The Shroud#1)- Inspector Korngold went to see Lassiter, suspecting him of being involved in an altercation between the criminal Garrick King and another band of criminals. Lassiter denied the inspector's accusations.
(The Shroud#2)- After two of Lassiter's security guards were found unconscious in Lassiter's office, Korngold stopped by to investigate, wondering if Garrick King had been involved. Later, Korngold met with Amara King, informing her of her husband's criminal ties. However, Amara did not listen to him.
(The Shroud#4)- Korngold attempted to trail Lassiter as he set off for a meeting with Yannroth of the Cult of Kâli, but Lassiter had one of his men cause a car accident to prevent Korngold from following.
