History: (Peter Parker: Spider-Man#23) – The Brll’nah >Zhhk< abducted several people from an apartment complex in Manhattan, including Peter Parker.

(Peter Parker: Spider-Man#24) – Parker awoke on a Brll’nah >Zhhk< spaceship, where he was informed by their human lawyer Tad McNair, of McNair and Associates, that something had gone wrong with the genetic hybrid made from Parker’s DNA. As the owner of his DNA, Parker was informed that he was responsible for the activities of this creature, and that he was to find it and return it to them or he would be sent to an alien prison.

Comments: Created by Paul Jenkins, Mark Buckingham, Tom Palmer and Rodney Ramos.

This all took place during the Maximum Security crossover, but was very loosely tied in. Perhaps the Brll’nah >Zhhk< decided to conduct their experiments while part of the group of alien races that were against Earth at the time. It’s unlikely, even though they were performing “semi-legal” activities, that they were part of the group of alien convicts exiled to Earth, as they had their own spacecraft and technology present..

CLARIFICATIONS:
The Brll’nah >Zhhk< have no known connection to:

Tad McNair was apparently a human lawyer, and as a member of McNair and Associates, was hired by the Brll’nah >Zhhk< to represent them in the legalities of their DNA experiments. He was aboard their ship when Peter Parker woke up, and made Parker sign a form that would discharge the Brll’nah >Zhhk< of any wrongdoing in his abduction.

The "Spider-Hybrid" was the result of the Brll’nah >Zhhk< creating a creature using spliced DNA from themselves and that of Spider-Man. They were unaware of his superhuman nature, and were surprised by the results. The creature, pregnant, escaped into New York, and the aliens, through their lawyer Tad McNair, informed Spider-Man that he was legally responsible for any destruction the creature caused. Tracking the creature down, Spider-Man and the villain Typeface fought it before, just as it began to give birth, Spider-Man managed to attach a teleportation device to it, returning it to the Brll’nah >Zhhk<.
