Powers/Abilities: Barrier possesses superhuman mass, making him virtually unmoveable, as well as granting him superhuman durability. He presumably possesses a degree of superhuman strength as well.
History: (Incredible Hulk Annual#17/4)- Barrier was employed by Justin Hammer in aiding Blacklash and Ringer in tracking down Luis, a teenager with superhuman speed. Hammer convinced Luis to don the Thunderbolt costume, and sent him with the other three costumed criminals to steal plans for an experimental aircraft from the Edwards Air Force Base. However, they were opposed by Ulysses and Achilles of the Pantheon, who warned Luis against working with Hammer. Barrier attacked Achilles, but was hurled through the air by one of his punches. Achilles then recovered Barrier's unconscious body for the authorities.
