Powers/Abilities: Having inherited a portion of the Venom symbiote from his parents, Dylan Brock had all the powers similar to other symbiote hosts, including superhuman strength (sufficient to lift a car into the air), durability (sufficient to withstand punches from superhumanly strong opponents) and the ability to project symbiotic tentacles from his body.

History:
(Extreme Venomverse I#1 / 2 (fb) - BTS) - After bonding with an alien symbiote, Anne had son named Dylan and became fearful he might inherit a symbiote from both her and his father, Eddie. When Dylan indeed did inherit the alien Venom symbiote, the terrified boy busted through the wall of his apartment bedroom and ran away into the city, freaking out and eventually hitting his head, prompting the homeless girl Lia to take Dylan back to her automobile home.

(Extreme Venomverse I#1 / 2) - Discovering the gaping hole in their apartment wall, Dylan's parents Eddie and Anne became determined to find their missing son. Eventually regaining consciousness, a surprised Dylan asked where he was and who Lia was. Lia explained how she'd taken Dylan in after he hit his head. Dylan nervously thanked Lia for taking him in and quickly attempted to leave the scene despite Lia's attempts to discern why Dylan had run away from home. When Lia sarcastically suggested Dylan was spoiled and had run away because his parents wouldn't buy him a new toy, Dylan angrily demanded Lia stop making fun of him and transformed into Venom, lifting Lia's car home into the air. Lia begged for Venom not to hurt her and Dylan argued with his symbiote over control of his body. His father Eddie soon interrupted Dylan's conversation with his symbiote, engaging Venom in battle while Dylan's mother Anne rescued Lia. Still fearful of her son, Anne began talking to her own Venom symbiote and a confused Lia reminded Anne that she was still there for Dylan. Realizing that there were things she feared more than her symbiote, Anne allowed her Venom symbiote to envelop her and she joined in the fight against Dylan and his symbiote, refusing to lose her son and family to their symbiotes. Helping Dylan overcome the control of his symbiote, Anne suggested her family return home. A short time later, Lia came by to visit Dylan and they all had cake before going for a walk. During the walk, Anne announced plans to train Dylan to master his symbiote and use his powers to their fullest. Dylan asked what if he couldn't control his powers and Anne assured Dylan that he would never know if he could if he didn't at least try. Dylan responded by asking what he would do if he did learn to control his symbiote and Anne suggested they would find that out together.

(Death of the Venomverse I#1 (fb) - BTS) - When the hostless Carnage symbiote of Earth-616 began hunting down Venom symbiote hosts from across the Multiverse, Earth-74501's Venom joined Agent Venom of Earth-1051's symbiote squad to oppose the murder of Venom symbiote hosts.

(Death of the Venomverse I#1) - Venom-74501 attended an assemblage of Agent Venom-1051's symbiote squad during which Agent Venom revealed her suspicions that the Carnage symbiote of Earth-616 was acting independently without a host to hunt down Multiversal Venom symbiote hosts.

(Death of the Venomverse I#2) - Venom-74501 accompanied Agent Venom's symbiote squad to Earth-11964, where the Carnage symbiote was battling that reality's native Symbiote Six with the help of the Monsters of Evil. Dylan Brock quickly dodged an attack from the Carnage symbiote, distracting Carnage long enough for the Symbiote Six to gain an upper hand. Unfazed, the Carnage symbiote projected symbiotic tentacles outward, killing the Symbiote Six's Doctor Octopus and Dylan's teammates, the Samurai Venom of Earth-53293 and Dreamstone Venom of Earth-32011. Announcing how he had acquired new powers from the Venom symbiote hosts he had killed, the Carnage symbiote impaled Dylan as he exclaimed that he would plow through any "children" sent against him. Earth-1051's Virus soon forced the Carnage symbiote to flee using sonics, leaving Agent Venom-1051 to mourn the loss of Dylan. Virus attempted to console Agent Venom by reminding her that Earth-74501's Venom was not her native Dylan Brock but Agent Venom suggested Virus be quiet.

    Both Dylan and Anne mentioned their symbiote being named Venom. One might assume Eddie Brock was also Venom but we are never actually given a codename for Eddie, only his real name of Eddie Brock.

    This profile was completed on 10/22/2025 but its publication was delayed, as it was intended for the Appendix's 25th anniversary celebratory event.

Eddie Brock was the father of Dylan Brock. He was bonded to an alien symbiote that granted him superhuman powers. Eddie eventually learned that Dylan had inherited a portion of the alien Venom symbiote when the terrified Dylan busted through the wall of the Brock family apartment and ran away from home. Determined to track Dylan down alongside his wife Anne, Eddie ultimately found Dylan using his symbiote to lift a car into the air. Engaging Dylan in battle, Eddie fought his son while Anne rescued Lia, the homeless woman inside the car. After Dylan was calmed, the Brocks returned home and Eddie and Anne dedicated themselves to helping Dylan learn how to master his symbiote.

Eddie had superhuman powers related to his bonding to an alien symbiote including superhuman strength and durability.

Lia

Lia was a homeless girl that had run away from an orphanage who found the terrified Dylan Brock. When Dylan freaked out and hit his head, Lia brought Dylan back to her automobile home but a recovering Dylan insisting on getting away from Lia. Attempting to learn more about Dylan, Lia sarcastically suggested Dylan was a spoiled child that had run away when his parents didn't get him a new toy he wanted, prompting Dylan to lose control of his Venom symbiote and lift Lia's car into the air. Dylan's parents arrived shortly thereafter and his mother Anne rescued Lia while his father fought Dylan. Dylan's parents ultimately calmed Dylan down and returned home to their apartment, where Lia later visited.

Venom

Anne Brock was bonded to a portion of the alien Venom symbiote, a bonding she passed on to her son Dylan. Determined to protect Dylan but also fearful of what he could become, Anne refused to allow the Venom symbiote to take her over but when Dylan inherited a portion of the Venom symbiote and ran away in fear, Anne worked with her husband Eddie to track Dylan down. They soon found Dylan lifting a car into the air using his symbiote and Anne rescued Lia, the homeless girl inside the car, while Eddie battled the out-of-control Dylan. After saving Lia, Anne realized that, while she was fearful of Dylan losing control, she was even more fearful of losing her family entirely and she allowed her own Venom symbiote to take over in order to defeat and calm Dylan. Once Dylan was safe, Anne returned home with her family and she dedicated herself to helping Dylan learn to master his symbiote.

As Venom, Anne Brock possessed superhuman strength and durability similar to most Venom symbiote hosts.
