History:
(Deathlok III#7 (fb) - BTS) - Lillian was eleven years younger than her brother Jack, although he was never much of a big brother to her.

(Deathlok III#1 (fb) - BTS / Deathlok III#5 (fb)) - Jack and Lillian Truman's dad wasn't around much while he was growing up, apparently feeling he had better things to do than to raise them.

(Deathlok III#7 (fb) - BTS) - When Jack was twenty-three and Lillian twelve she told her brother that she wanted to enlist, too, unhappy at being left alone with their lonely, bitter father. It would be fourteen years before they saw one another again.

(Deathlok III#7 (fb) - BTS) - When Jack became a covert S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, all of his personnel files were deleted, and so S.H.I.E.L.D. did not know about Lillian.

(Deathlok III#7 (fb) - BTS) - Lillian moved out to Los Angeles to become an actress, and she changed her last name to Trubane.

Lillian was friends with Tanya Sealy (it is unrevealed whether she knew that Tanya had been the super-villain Black Mamba).

She dated an unidentified surfer guy.

When Tanya needed a date for a celebrity fund-raiser ("Heal the Planet"), Lillian convinced her boyfriend to take her. trubane-lillian-dlok-audition

(Deathlok III#7) - Having become the cyborg/robotic Deathlok and somewhat on the run, Jack went to visit Lillian, partially to reconnect but also to hide out as S.H.I.E.L.D. did not know that she was connected to him.

Fresh out of the shower, Lillian answered the doorbell in a towel, and when Jack said her name, she failed to recognize his altered appearance (as he was mostly using artificial epidermis to cover his robotic frame). She started to tell him she was not interested in any magazine subscriptions before recognizing something and questioning whether he was Jack. Confirming as he entered, Jack told her, "nice place," and she replied that his sarcasm had not changed before asking if people weren't supposed to mellow with age. She commented on his lack of hair and asked about his weird-looking eyes, but he told her that they were none of her business.

After an uncomfortable pause, Lillian asked if he had talked to their father lately. After he replied that he had not, she shared that she had not either, and added, "Guess we're not missing much." After he excused himself to use her bathroom (to apply the last of his artificial epidermis on his hand), she sighed and considered that of all of the people <to show up at her place?>. Meanwhile, she got dressed, and when he came out, she told him she had changed her last name to Trubane when she started acting. As she headed out for her audition, she told him to make himself at home and that she would kick him out when she got back.

Lillian did her audition, but Mr. Delmeyer told her, "Not a bad reading, per se...but there's something about...your measurements -- I mean your qualifications. They're...uh...a little on the disturbing side. When his assistant let him know that there were others there to audition, he simply called out, "Next!," dismissing her.

(Deathlok III#7 (fb) - BTS) - While Lillian was out, Jack extracted a tracking device from his leg, and took a message from a surfer dude who identified himself as Lillian's "steady" that he couldn't take Lillian's friend out that night like he'd promised her.

(Deathlok III#7) - Upon returning home, Lillian was furious to hear that her "boyfriend" wasn't going to take Tanya out that night, declaring that they were through. She then insisted that Jack be the plus one for Tanya in return for staying at her place.

(Deathlok III#7 - BTS) - They night degenerated when "Puffy" (Puff Adder/Gordon Fraley), a Serpent Society teammate of Tanya's, showed up and became possessive of her. This led to a fight where Jack subdued Puff Adder but in the process lost his artificial epidermis, exposing his robotic appearance.

(Deathlok III#7) - Having witnessed the combat via television, when Jack returned to her apartment, Lillian did not seem to be put off in the least by his cyborg nature. However, she told him that he was still selfish and self-involved, and that she wasn't there just for him to run to when he wanted to hide from his life. Telling him it was too little too late and they were both better off as orphans, she threw him out, leaving him believing she hated him; however, after he left a clearly upset Lillian threw a photo against the wall, smashing it (see comments).

Tying her in to Tanya Sealy made the whole encounter a lot more entertaining. It would be nice to see Black Mamba at least reference Lillian in the future.

Slim pickings on quality full body images...

Not particularly wise, especially for a woman, opening a door to unknown parties in the middle of Los Angeles while wearing only a towel and underwear...fortunately it was her brother and not some drug addict, as she initially assumed...

As the director or whoever was viewing her audition pointed out, Lillian was a little disproportionate, with a tall, lean body frame and then very large breasts. She may have been built thusly, or she may have had implants. The world may never know...

The photo shown at the end of Deathlok III#7 is confusing. It shows two young people, the elder, possibly adult one, looking slightly feminine and the younger, a child, appearing male, posing with Spider-Man. This probably can't be Jack and Lillian as kids since Jack was the elder by eleven years, and here the older looking one looks like a woman; additionally, Jack is too old to be a child when Spider-Man is around. Yet the picture clearly has relevance to Lillian just after she's ranted about family. Is the woman a younger Lillian? And if so, perhaps the boy is her son, a nephew Jack is unaware of because he's been out her life so long? And if that's also the case, then what's happened to the lad? Clearly a seed for a storyline that never got followed up on thanks to the book's cancellation.

You may be right, although I also think it could be Lillian as a kid who was like 3-5 years old and Jack as a 14 to 16 year-old. Especially for a comic from 2000, he may have just had a very New Wave look in 1980 or so...although the date is topical, he could have just been retro and a fan of that style.
