History:

(The Cat I#4 (fb) - BTS) - Sally went to high school with Greer Grant in Chicago. Sally remembered high school as "agonizing" because she and Greer were already trying to fit in. Some time after high school, Sally moved to another city.

(The Cat I#4) - Years later after Greer had been married and widowed, Sally came back to Chicago to visit Greer. While taking a walk near the union stockyards, Greer told Sally how glad she was for her visit because she'd been missing their high school days. Sally said Greer must have forgotten how "miserable" they were in high school. Sally said she preferred how things were in the present: "There's lex anxiety, and more freedom!" Greer agreed that high school was a "drag" but found freedom was "pretty heavy."

Before they continued their trip up the north shore, Sally asked to stop for lunch. Greer directed them to a tavern and over lunch, Greer asked what Sally wanted to do that evening. Sally said she hoped Greer could fix her up with "the man of my dreams." This prompted an intrusion from William "Bull" Taurens who tried to force himself on Greer but she flipped him to the ground spilled beer on him.

As Greer and Sally left the tavern the owner let them have their lunch on the house as an apology for Bull's intrusion. Just as they exited, Bull -- now transformed into the Man-Bull -- returned to get revenge on the tavern patrons who mocked him. Greer slipped away from Sally to fight the Man-Bull as the Cat.

Comments: Created by Linda Fite, Jim Starlin, Alan Weiss and Frank McLaughlin.

Per the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, Chicago is Greer's hometown, so she surely went to high school there.
