History: (Hail Hydra#2 (fb) - BTS) - Born on Earth-85826 where America was ruled by Hydra since the Revolutionary War, Ellie Rogers was the daughter of Sharon Carter and Steve Rogers, members of the underground resistance.

(Hail Hydra#1 (fb) - BTS) - Earth-85826 was destroyed by the Incursions, but a portion of it survived and became part of God Emperor Doom's Battleworld as the Hydra Empire domain. The memories of all its inhabitants were altered to accept the reality of the Battleworld as their new normal.

(Hail Hydra#2) - Ellie found a man with a broken back in the sewers and took him to the Resistance for questioning, unaware of his regenerative abilities. Others at the base chastised Ellie for exposing them, but when Stark prepared to execute the prisoner, he jumped back on his feet and took Ellie hostage, asking to be let go. Ellie's parents arrived, and she used the distraction to elbow the man and get away. The man was recognized as Leopold Zola, the renowned Captain Hydra, but Pym presented a recording of Captain Hydra savagely fighting his variant, showing that he was not a friend of Hydra. Leopold's variant introduced himself as Ian Rogers, raised by Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter in another reality. The Resistance base was discovered and attacked by Hydra's Vipers and Venom, who slaughtered everyone present. Sharon ordered Ian Rogers to take her daughter and run, telling Ellie that her parents loved her.

Unbeknownst to her, Ellie had been infected with a piece of the Venom symbiote during the fighting.

(Hail Hydra#3) - Ellie and Nomad escaped the sewers and blended with the crowd. After watching Captain Hydra take credit for the raid that he was not in, they found a safe place, and Ellie came close to breaking down over losing both her parents and the dream of the Resistance. Ian, being her brother of sorts, urged her not to give up and revealed that he had preserved Tony Stark's device that could trap Arnim Zola's digital consciousness in a single body, so that he could be killed. They went towards the Hydra headquarters, and though they were exposed, Arnim Zola ordered them to be allowed inside. Nick Fury Jr. showed them inside, and Ellie sarcastically remarked that his father, who died with the Resistance, would be glad to see him. Arnim expected Ellie and Nomad to have some scheme in mind, but felt confident due to being unkillable and offered them a deal in exchange for the regenerative properties of Nomad's suit. To further manipulate Ellie, Arnim transferred his consciousness into the body of Ellie's recently killed father, posing as him to urge her to cease resisting. But Steve had taught Ellie to never give up, so she stabbed his body, exposing Zola's deception. Nomad subsequently used Stark's device to trap Arnim in Steve's body, but at that moment Ellie's body began succumbing to the symbiote.

(Hail Hydra#4) - Confronted by Hydra's Avengers, Nomad let himself fall off the skyscraper to deny Arnim Zola his prize. Ellie had managed to master the symbiote and used its abilities to catch Nomad mid-fall and carry him away. Pursued by the Avengers, she decided to find a good spot to make a last stand, but Nomad offered her to go back with him to his world through the Infinite Elevator instead. They were surrounded by Doctor Mindbubble's mindbubbles, and Ellie got trapped in one, with Ian soon joining her.

Inside the mindbubble, they experienced a shared fantasy mirroring Reality-16156, in which Ian and Ellie were raised by Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter as siblings. During a reunion at their parents' house, Ian recognized the fake nature of this reality and used Sharon's gun to shoot Ellie and then himself, freeing them from the mindbubble.

Nomad urged Ellie to get up, and they made a run for the Infinite Elevator, but Ellie was shot by Iron Baron just before the Elevator's door closed behind them. Ian activated the Elevator and apologized to Ellie for failing her. Moments later the building containing the Elevator exploded, leaving no trace of them.

Comments: Created by Rick Remender and Roland Boschi.

Nomad eventually found his way back home to Earth-616 in Captain America: Symbol of Truth (2022) but did not elaborate on the journey that took him there. The Symbiotes are known to grant their hosts healing abilities in many realities, so Ellie had as much chance of surviving as any comic-book character whose death was not explicitly shown on page.
