Powers/Abilities: The Repairman is an excellent engineer. He has designed a variety of battlesuits and special weapons for others to use.

History:

(Silk I#1) - The Black Cat sent one of her henchmen to the Repairman so he could be enhanced and battle her enemy Silk. The Repairman transformed him into Dragonclaw.

(Silk I#3) - The Repairman showed footage of Silk's fight with Dragonclaw to the Black Cat so they could study it and determine how to fight her. When the Black Cat observed that Silk was fast, the Repairman suggested they make her crew faster.

(Silk I#4) - The Repairman showed the Black Cat the battlesuits he'd built for her crew. He noted he'd given them some extras since Dragonclaw had been ineffective.

(Silk I#5) - When the Black Cat and her crew engaged Silk, the Repairman activated bombs inside the battlesuits he'd built; the explosion killed the Black Cat's operatives and knocked out Silk, enabling the Repairman to kidnap Silk. The Repairman strapped Silk to a table in his workshop and told her he was really working for the people who had kidnapped her parents.

(Silk I#6) - The Repairman examined Silk, exploring the spot where she'd been bitten by a radioactive spider. The Repairman claimed he didn't know the identities of the people who'd hired him but he'd auction off Silk to A.I.M. or Hydra. However, the Black Cat, incensed at the Repairman for his betrayal, burst into his workshop and attacked him. The Black Cat hurled the Repairman into a pillar, wrecking his workshop and apparently killing him.

    The Repairman might have been one of the two shadowy figures in Silk I#2 who sent a Hydra robot against Silk then collected her blood sample from the robot. I'm not sure if that loose end was ever tied up. Although Cindy's parents eventually turned up alive, I don't think the Repairman's connection to them was revealed either; maybe Fang (Tamara Pearson) was the one who hired the Repairman?

    This profile was completed on 03/26/2026 but its publication was delayed, as it was intended for the Appendix's 25th anniversary celebratory event.
