History: (Dark Web#1) - At Christmas, Ben Reilly was walking around Manhattan with his girlfriend Janine Godbe when the two of them ran into Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson. Peter announced that he was there to reclaim his property, as he and Mary Jane started cackling maniacally. Peter tore out Ben's hair and called it trash before tossing it away. Peter then took off Ben's mouth, taking away his ability to speak.

    Janine rushed to his defense, but Mary Jane said that girls who stood their ground got locked up and turned Janine into a storefront mannequin dressed in a prison jumpsuit. Peter then plucked out Ben's eyes and opened his cranium to remove his brain, saying that he was seeking Ben's copy of his own memories. Faceless Ben was then put up as another mannequin next to Janine, which Peter and MJ mocked with cruel laughter.

(Dark Web#1) - These events were experienced in a nightmare by Ben Reilly of Earth-616.
