History:
(Alias#6 (fb) - BTS) - At some point in the past Malcolm was in Central Park with his dad and saw Thor in person. He was not impressed by the costumed hero.

(Alias#6) - One day 17-year-old Malcolm Powder entered Jessica Jones' Alias Investigations office and answered her phone while she was in the bathroom. She heard him talking and just wanted him to get out of her office. He told her that he was a fan of hers and unlike all the other kids at his school was not into costumed heroes. He had been reading up on Jessica and liked her style enough to decide to look up her office's address in the phonebook and meet her in person. Jessica didn't care and kicked him out of her office after learning that he was 17 despite him offering his help because he had nothing else to do. She heard him speak about her ASSets outside her office and told him that she could still hear him, which kind of embarrassed Malcolm.

(Alias#9) - On another day Malcolm returned to Jessica's office and answered the phone while she had fallen asleep at her laptop. On the other end of the line was Edwin Jarvis, the Avengers' butler, who told Malcolm that he had to talk with Jessica about a sensitive matter. Jessica woke up, asked Malcolm what was wrong with him and told him to leave immediately. He stayed and overheard Jessica's conversation with Jarvis not going well (she had just learned that she was working on a case that involved a Rick Jones imposter and not the real one). She got annoyed with Malcolm's questions and constant begging for a job and just wanted him out of her office.

(Alias#17 (fb) - BTS) - Malcolm visited Jessica's office a few more times, but she wasn't around.

(Alias#17) - Malcolm returned to Jessica's office when she was finally back and asked her if she knew Captain America and what she thought about him revealing his true identity. Jessica didn't even know what had happened, asked Malcolm if he didn't have parents or homework and just wanted to leave her alone. Malcolm believed Cap was just copying Jessica because she revealed her identity years ago and that Daredevil was a coward for suing the tabloids after they revealed his true identity. He also revealed that he told his friends at school that Jessica revealed her true identity years ago when it was not the hip thing to do, but Jessica was just annoyed and asked Malcolm to leave because she had work to do. Malcolm again offered his help because he almost had an encyclopedic knowledge about useless stuff. Jessica humored him and asked him if he knew someone that knew the young Spider-Woman (Mattie Franklin) because she might be on drugs and in trouble. Jessica promised to give Malcolm a part-time job if he found anyone, who knew anything about Mattie. On his way out Malcolm asked for his own cell phone, but Jessica just wanted him to get out of her office.

(Alias#18 (fb) - BTS) - Malcolm found Laney Haynes, whose brother was involved with Mattie.

(Alias#18) - Malcolm took Laney to Jessica's office and the hung out in the front of the building until Jessica arrived. Laney tried to grind down the railing with Malcolm's skateboard, but screwed it up big time. When Jessica saw Malcolm she threatened to call the police because she had told him multiple times not to hang out here. He tried to calm her down by telling her that he had found a girl from his school that had seen Mattie recently. Jessica wanted to know more after Laney told her that her brother was "doing" Mattie. Malcolm listened to Laney telling Jessica about her drug dealing brother Denny Haynes, who kept Mattie compliant with drugs because he wanted his own superhero girlfriend like one of his Lithuanian partners. Malcolm asked if this meant he would get the job and Jessica promised to look into it.

(Alias#27 (fb) - BTS) - Believing he was now actually working for Jessica Jones, Malcolm used a hidden key Jessica always left behind to gain entrance to Alias Investigations and started answering her phone calls. Someone called several times, but always hung up. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Quartermain also called and asked for Jessica to call him.

Jessica was scared to return to her office after Purple Man (Zebediah Killgrave) had escaped from the Raft and called her phone to check her messages, but Malcolm picked up the phone to her annoyance. He told her that he was in the office because he working there, but Jessica didn't even know how he got into the office. When Malcolm told her how he got in, Jessica told him that the key was not for him. Jessica told him to leave the office immediately and go home, but before he left Malcolm told her about the mysterious calls and the one from Quartermain (though Malcolm believed he was named Quarterflash). Jessica got even more scared and asked if someone was with Malcolm in the office, but he didn't know what she was talking about. She again told him to leave the office immediately.

(Alias#27) - Malcolm left the building and skateboarded home.

Comments: Created by Brian Michael Bendis & Michael Gaydos.

Though a character named Malcolm was part of the Jessica Jones show created for Netflix, the character was named Malcolm Ducasse and aside from the first name has nothing in common with the comic book character Malcolm Powder.
