positron-annie-eyeblastpositron-annie-chestblastPowers/Abilities: Positron is apparently made of positronic energy (see comments).

    Her skin is only a shell (presumably constructed by her father), containing her energies.

    She feeds on gamma rays.

    She can project destructive blasts from her eyes and/or chest, at least, progressively disintegrating a relatively large, metallic airship without harming the pilot (beyond leaving him to fall from wherever the ship had been).

Height: Unrevealed (approximately 5'8"; she looked to be the same height as Jackson, but his height is unrevealed)
Weight: Unrevealed (difficult to estimate as she is apparently made of energy and using a human shell.)
Eyes: Unrevealed (mostly distant shots and/or under lighting that makes her eye color hard to see);
    her eyes glowed yellow when she was energy-charged.
Hair: Apparently blonde (she's seen in the dark under odd lighting; some images look more strawberry blonde);
    her hair was light blue when she was energy-charged

History:
positron-annie-energy-upper(Amazing Fantasy II#15 (fb) - BTS) - Annie either developed superhuman powers and her father then tested her powers/nature, or he mutated her first and then tested her powers/nature.

    At some point, Annie fled from her father, who hired Jackson Clarke to retrieve her, giving him an inhibitor disc to neutralize her powers.

    Jackson made contact with Annie, and they had at least one date. After only knowing each other for 27 hours...

(Amazing Fantasy II#15) - ...Jackson brought Annie up on top of a building in Atlanta. Annie told Jackson that she had enjoyed the whole night, and the view of the city was amazing. She teasingly told him that she bet he took all the girls up there, but he asked "All what girls" as if he had never taken a girl up there before. Regardless, Annie was attracted to Jackson, noting that it was crazy as she'd only known him for <27 hours, he filled in>, but she had feelings for him; she felt he was so virtuous and that the way her life had been, she never thought someone like him existed.

    After Jackson replied that it was all her and that she was one of a kind, they leaned in to kiss, but Annie pulled back, saying that they couldn't and that it wouldn't be right or fair to him. When she told him that he could be in danger, he told her that the last she needed to worry about was him being in danger. Annie warned him that this was no joke and that her father was after her, Jackson told her not to worry about it and that whatever was going on, he would handle it. As Jackson was asking what was the worst her father could do, they were suddenly caught in the lights of a trio of airships.

    After her father broadcast, "There you are, Annie," she told Jackson that that was her dad. Jackson told her that he would handle this, but Annie started glowing, put a hand in front of him and said that this was her fight. Projecting energy from her eyes and then from her chest, she blasted one of the ships, disintegrating much of it and causing the pilot to fall, catching himself on a fire escape.

    Explaining her true nature, she apologized to Jackson, after which one of the other ships, possibly her father's blasted her, knocking her to the ground and burning off her clothes. Her father told her to stop running and that she had to come home to let him help her. Annie retorted, "You don't care about me! You want me for your stupid weapons! I'm not your daughter anymore -- I'm your guinea pig! If you don't leave us a lone, I swear I'll blast you."

    When her at least seemingly dejected father replied, "Okay then...anytime you're ready," Annie thought that he thought she was bluffing, but as she started to reiterate her point, Jackson placed the inhibitor disc on her neck and told her that her father had not been talking to her. Annie only had time to to react in shock to Jackson's betrayal, noting that she thought he...before she collapsed on the ground, de-powered and nude.

    One of her father's men (either the guy from the ship she destroyed or the guy from the other ship) wrapped her in a sheet and carried her into one of the two remaining ships.

(Amazing Fantasy II#15 - BTS) - Disturbed by the experience, Jackson told Annie's father that this was not what he was hired for, and he gave him back the large sum of cash he had paid him. Noting that to be interesting, Annie's father took the money, bade Jackson farewell, and departed with his daughter.

    This story and the characters were interesting, but it was an 8-page teaser, leaving you wanting to know more about the characters and their backgrounds.

    Courtesy of our friend Wikipedia:

The positron or antielectron is the particle with an electric charge of +1e, a spin of 1/2 (the same as the electron), and approximately the same mass as an electron. It is the antiparticle (antimatter counterpart) of the electron. When a positron collides with an electron, annihilation occurs. If this collision occurs at low energies, it results in the production of two or more photons.

Positrons can be created by positron emission radioactive decay (through weak interactions), or by pair production from a sufficiently energetic photon which is interacting with an atom in a material.
