History:
(Marvel Team-Up I#105) - Patty was with her family on their farm when the Hulk crashed an airplane nearby; the airplane was carrying the heroes Power Man and Iron Fist, who got into a fight with the Hulk while Patty and her family approached the crashsite. Patty's Paw wanted to claim all the water in the airplane. Finding Power Man, Paw mistook him for the Hulk and fired at him, failing to injure him because of his bulletproof skin, but Paw threatened the plane's pilot, Carole, forcing Power Man to surrender to him.
Paw forced Power Man to uncover a stream near his property that had been buried by a landslide. Patty brought Power Man some water and apologized for Paw, saying he hated everyone, "even us!" When Paw saw Power Man with water he accused him of stealing it and attacked him. This was interrupted by the return of the Hulk, who fought Power Man and Iron Fist. As U.S. Army helicopters began to arrive in pursuit of the Hulk, Paw panicked and tried to fire his rifle at the Hulk. When Patty warned him this would only make the Hulk mad, Paw struck her; Power Man responded by punching Paw. The Hulk fled and the U.S. Army helped transport Iron Fist, Power Man, Carole and Patty out of there as Patty wanted to remain with her friends and escape Paw. On the ride away, Patty enthused over the clothing she saw in a magazine.
(Marvel Team-Up I#105/2 (fb) - BTS) - Power Man and Iron Fist introduced Patty to their friends Misty Knight and Colleen Wing. Colleen taught some martial arts moves to Patty.
(Marvel Team-Up I#105/2) - Patty accompanied Misty and Colleen to a fashion show where Power Man and Iron Fist were serving as escorts to the models. Suddenly, several models drew guns and ordered the show attendees to turn over all of their money. Misty ordered Patty to lie on the ground while she and Colleen went after the thieves. The last robber grabbed Patty to use as a hostage but Patty used what she'd learned from Colleen to break her kidnapper's grip then knock her down. Power Man was impressed and told Patty she could be his bodyguard from then on.

Patty's Paw, brother Luther and sister lived on a farm in the US southwest. When Power Man and Iron Fist's plane was crashed by the Hulk, Paw led his family in an attempt to scavenge the crashsite, hoping to find water. When Paw saw Power Man he mistook him for the Hulk and fired his shotgun at him, having no effect on Power Man's bulletproof skin. By threatening to shoot Power Man's pilot Carole, Paw forced him to start uncovering the spring which had been buried in a landslide. When Paw found Patty had given Power Man water he accused the hero of taking it and struck him. Soon, the Hulk returned and fought Power Man and Iron Fist. When U.S. Army helicopters appeared, Paw started to panic and aimed his gun at the Hulk. Knowing it would only make him angry, Patty intervened to stop him but Paw struck her. Power Man punched Paw in return. Paw and his other two children were left behind as the heroes took Patty with them when they left.
