History:
(Outlaw Kid II#15) - Moose rode into Caliber City and went to the general store where Belle Palmer worked so that he could declare his intent to bring her home to Monster Mountain with him to become his bride. Moose attempted to claim a kiss from her but she backed away from him. Belle's lover Lance Temple tried to attack Moose from behind but Moose knew he was there and struck him down with the butt of his rifle. Moose again insisted that Belle come with him and she fainted; Moose carried her out of the store and transported her with him on horseback.
Riding up Monster Mountain, Moose made camp with Belle and again attempted to force a kiss from her but Belle still resisted him. The Outlaw Kid (Lance's alter ego) emerged from the shadows and fought with Moose, giving Belle an opportunity to run away but Claude and another of Moose's subordinates who had been waiting on Murder Mountain for Moose's return recaptured her. Defeating the Outlaw Kid, Moose held a gun to him as he unmasked him, revealing he was Lance Temple.
(Outlaw Kid II#16) - Just as Lance warned Moose that a posse was also on Murder Mountain, said posse - led by town boss Jack McDaniels and Sheriff Collins - opened fire, nearly hitting Belle in their eagerness. Seeing that Belle was pinned down, Moose called to McDaniels saying that if he didn't let him and his men go he would shoot Belle before they could shoot him. McDaniels agreed to these terms, permitting Moose and his men to flee.
Lance soon pursued Moose down Murder Mountain and shot Moose's rifle from his hand. When Moose tried to inch toward a revolver hidden nearby in the grass he accidentally stepped into a bear trap. Defeated, he surrendered to Lance, who set him free from the trap then guided him down Murder Mountain to face justice in Caliber City.

Moose Morgan should not be confused with:
Claude (right) was one of Moose's allies and lived on Murder Mountain with another of Moose's allies (left). When Moose brought Belle Palmer to Murder Mountain, Claude helped ensure she didn't run away. After Jack McDaniels' posse appeared, Moose successfully bargained for he, Claude and his other friend's escape from by the posse by threatening Belle's life.
