History: (Champions III#2 (fb) - BTS) - Faridah Kassem lived in Dubai with her mother. She loved photography, using it to show others the beauty she saw in everyday life. This led to arguments with her mother, who did not think that taking pictures would be a good occupation.

 (Champions III#2) - The energy being Zzzax attacked Dubai and was opposed by the team of Champions (Brawn/Amadeus Chos, Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan, Spider-Man/Miles Morales-1610, Viv Vision). Spider-Man prevented Faridah from being hit by debris, and she thanked him for saving her life. Moments later, his teammates Ms. Marvel and Viv Vision were killed by Zzzax.

 (Champions III#2 - BTS) - Mephisto appeared before Spider-Man and Brawn and offered them to rewind the clock without asking for anything in return. Brawn was wary, but Spider-Man took the deal, and Mephisto apparently rewound time, diverging previous events into Reality-49423. Spider-Man distracted Zzzax, allowing the Champions to trap him in a battery containment field, and was not present to rescue Faridah from being crushed by debris.

 (Champions III#3 (fb) - BTS) - A makeshift memorial for Faridah was erected at the site of the attack.

 (Champions III#3 - BTS) - Tormented by his choice, Spider-Man remembered saving Faridah in the divergent timeline and returned to Dubai eight days after the attack. He found Faridah's mother at the memorial and offered his condolences to her. Ms. Kassem said that Spider-Man's team had saved countless others, and that her daughter's death was God's will.

 (Champions III#4 - BTS) - Ms. Marvel confronted Spider-Man at Faridah's memorial about hiding something. He revealed that he saw her and Viv die in the other timeline and that his deal with Mephisto traded Faridah's life for theirs.

 (Champions III#5 - BTS) - Spider-Man went to Ms. Kassem's house to mourn Faridah and ask her mother what she was like.
