kang-conglomerator-spiderpunksPowers/Abilities: Kang wore an advanced suit of armor that allowed him to travel through time and between realities, fly, project energy blasts and summon other beings from across time/realities.

His weapons and armor were not sufficient to harm or withstand the power of a Hulked-out Bruce Banner

He utilized "Spider-Punks," which were short-stocky toy-like versions of Spider-Man-138 with comparable strength and web-generating abilities. They collectively voiced soundbytes like "Anarchy," "Thwip," "capitalism rules," "fight the power" and "punk's not dead."

Height: Unrevealed (approximately 6'3")
Weight: Unrevealed (approximately 230 lbs.)
Eyes: Unrevealed (if they match Nathaniel Richards/Kang, then they would be brown)

History:

(Edge of Spider-Geddon#1) - In the year 2099 of an undefined reality, Kangco Inc. Ltd. owned the rights, identity, image, merchandising rights and all intellectual properties associated Hobie Brown, aka "Spider-Punk."

(Edge of Spider-Geddon#1) - On Earth-138, after Spider-Man defeated Eric Masters and warned him against coming back for his hammer, Kang appeared behind Spider-Man and fired a blast that left Masters a smoking skeleton. Introducing himself as Kang the Conglomerator and addressing Hobie as "Spider-Punk" (leading Hobie to repeatedly correct him), he told Hobie how he owned his image and that heroes of his time turn him a tidy profit from action figures, t-shirts, films, and to a lesser extent, comic books.

kang-conglomerator-blast    After Kang revealed how his Fabulous Spider-Punk character was family-friendly, media darling and just edgy enough, Hobie warned him that he was a dead man. Kang advised Hobie that it would take an atom bomb to kill him and that he wanted to take the original Spider-Punk back to his time to increase his profits, and when Hobie asked "you and what army," Kang summoned at least 10 stocky Spider-Punk-ish beings to fight him.

As Hobie fought these beings, Kang explained how they would smooth out just enough of his rough edges to make him appealing without being threatening and to put new, marketing-friendly dialogue in his mouth. As Kang's Spider-Punks were not harmed by Hobie's assaults, Hobie realized that fighting was futile and he contacted and met up with Captain Anarchy and asked him for "the tape." He lured Kang's Spider-Punks to Captain Anarchy's location so they would fight the Annihilation Wave that Anarchy had been fighting.

After Anarchy gave Hobie the cassette tape he wanted, Kang arrived, instructing Hobie to give up and accept his corporately mandated destiny. When Hobie warned Anarchy that Kang might try to grab him, too, Kang countered that Captain Anarchy was not marketable for him. Anarchy told Hobie to go, and he would occupy "this bourgeois swine" until Hobie was ready for him. Hobie told Cap to give him five minutes and then to flee. Anarchy's shield deflected Kang's blasts.

(Edge of Spider-Geddon#1 - BTS) - Hobie met up with Robbie Banner, convincing him to listen to the tape, which facilitated his transformation into the Hulk (I don't think he was identified as such, but he was very Hulky...and which served as the "atom bomb" Hobie was seeking to use against Kang).

(Edge of Spider-Geddon#1) - The Hulked out Banner subsequently battered and subdued Kang. Before teleporting away, at Hobie's query, Kang explained that Karl Morgenthau (Captain Anarchy) had died old and fat and irrelevant, and turning him into a brand would have pointless; however, Hobie had died young, like every great, bankable star.

Comments: Created by Jed McKay and Gerardo Sandoval.

Kang the Conqueror originated as Nathaniel Richards on "Other-Earth" (Earth-6311). The vast majority of variant Kangs diverged after Kang had left his own timeline, meaning he did not diverge his own timeline but rather diverged himself in other timelines. Additionally, we know that in some timelines, Kang's armor and identity was usurped by other beings, so we don't know that each Kang we see is a divergent Nathaniel Richards unless definitively stated as so...and even then, it may be a trick or another writer may ret-con.
Many Kangs have bases in which they were active, but these are not necessarily the reality's from which they originated.
