Powers/Abilities: Tony Stark is a regular
human inventor and user of the Iron Man Armor. The armor is equipped
with jet boots in the soles that enable him to fly and powerful
repulsor ray projectors in the gauntlets. It most likely protected him
from harm and granted him other abilities.

History: (The 'Nam#41) - Iron Man and his fellow superheroes Thor and Captain America involved themselves in the ongoing Vietnam War. In the skies over Hanoi, American bombers were being targeted by surface-to-air missiles when Iron Man fired his repulsor rays at them, destroying the missiles easily. Iron Man then went directly after the North Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh together with Thor and Captain America. They broke into the building where Ho Chi Minh was giving a speech and apprehended him. Iron Man grabbed the North Vietnamese leader and flew him directly to Paris to negotiate an immediate end to the war.
(The 'Nam#41 - BTS) - These events were imagined by the soldier Ice Phillips of Earth-85101 after reading the fictional superhero comics in June of 1969.
Comments: Created by Doug Murray and Wayne Vansant.The 'Nam series took place on Earth-85101, a reality without superheroes or a sliding timescale. Similar events took place on Earth-616 closer to the modern era during a conflict identified as Siancong War in History of the Marvel Universe II#2 (2019). By comparison with Earth-616, Iron Man of Earth-90275 was already an active superhero during the Vietnam War. Ice Phillips of Earth-85101 was imagining his involvement in June of 1969, just months prior to the death of Ho Chi Minh.
Iron Man is depicted fighting side by side with Captain America and Thor, but they are not explicitly said to represent the Avengers as a group. His physical characteristics are taken from his Earth-616 counterpart.
