Anthony Stark;
see comments
Purpose: Covertly protecting Earth from various
threats
Aliases: None
Affiliations: None known

Base of Operations: Unrevealed locations on
Earth-14515
First Appearance: New Avengers III#15 (May, 2014)
History:
(New Avengers III#15 (fb) - BTS) - As the
Multiversal incursions were occurring, threatening each reality, the
Black Swan traveled to Earth-14515 and manipulated to Illuminati, who
incorrectly believed that if they followed her guidance, they would
save their world.
To this end, Anthony Stark and Reed Richards
located that world's Manifold (Ki Wassuru) and killed their friends (see comments).
(New Avengers III#15) - As another Earth
prepared to crash into Earth-14515 and Black Swan guided Manifold to
praise Rabum Alal (secretly Victor von Doom-616), Richards asked if
this was all there was, as all they had wanted to do was to save their
world.
Black Swan advised Strange that she had told them "many, many times...there is no saving your world...no saving...anything. There is only the wheel."
Angrily exclaiming, "Suharruru!" Stark asked the Black Swan if she had any idea what this had cost them, what they had done to help her, believing that this could be avoided.
Black Swan acknowledged that they had sacrificed everything that they had, and that they had found this world's Manifold so that he could be used as Rabum Alal intended. "Now all that's left is your reward."
Charging his gauntlet, Stark warned that they could
stop her, but she replied, "You know
that you can't."
Richards replied, "So...we have no choice." And Black Swan replied that they did, they could either depart with her or stay there and die with your Earth: "But surely a clever man like you knew that already."
Willing himself aflame with his signature "Flame
On!", Richards prepared to attack Black Swan but was instead
transported into the sun and presumably incinerated by Manifold.
Having dropped to his knees, Stark asked and heard
Manifold's explanation of what he had done.
Black Swan advised that Stark had one last
chance, and she asked him if he was a killer of worlds or just his own.
When he told her to go to Hell, Black Swan asked
him what he thought Earth was before either delivering a fatal punch to
his face and/or snapping his neck.
(New Avengers III#15 - BTS) - The Avengers of
Earth-616 observed these events via their interdimensional/temporal
Bridge technology.
Comments: Created by Jonathan Hickman and Simone Bianchi.
I don't think we know who the rest of the
Illuminati were on this world, but they were presumably slain by
Richards and Stark in the belief that this would save their world.
Based on the members of the Illuminati-616 at the time of this story,
other members may include: Black Bolt (Blackagar Boltagon), Dr. Strange
(Stephen Strange), Professor X (Charles Xavier), Sub-Mariner (Namor
McKenzie), Medusa (Medusalith Boltagon) and/or Captain America (Steve
Rogers).
Additionally, it may be that Richards and
Stark-14515 took out many other heroes and/or villains of their to this
end.
Reed had the "4" on his chest, and he may have
sacrificed the rest of the Fantastic Four, and Stark may have done the
same to the Avengers...at least...
Any other history for Richards and/or Stark is purely
speculative.
Richards, Stark and Manifold-14515 could each
receive their own profiles, and anyone willing and able to do so is
free to add them thusly.

Alongside
fellow Illuminati Anthony Stark, Richards followed the
recommendations of the Black Swan in hopes of saving their Earth
from
destruction during an imminent incursion. After it was clear their Earth would perish anyway, he refused to join Black Swan in traveling extradimensionally to escape his Earth's destruction. Bursting into flames, Reed apparently planned to attack Black Swan but was instead teleported into the sun by Manifold, and he was presumably incinerated. --New Avengers III#15 Note: Richards obviously had Human Torch powers on his world, and he did not demonstrate any stretching abilities. Any abilities of his presumably Fantastic Four teammates is purely speculative. |

No helmet. No explanation is available for his partial body armor, which obviously left him more vulnerable. |
