Powers/Abilities: Mostly unrevealed, but they could grant another being god-like powers to create whole worlds with his mind and gain a plethora of superhuman abilities if needed to defend said worlds. They are powerful beings that communicate telepathically and can observe events lightyears away through the beings they empowered.
Traits: They were aloof, disappointed and sometimes hopeful. They also didn't seem to understand physical lifeforms and their minds very well.

History:
(Raver#2 (fb) - BT) - The HO were a form of psychic energy from the
planet Pysos, a world existing a million lightyears away from Earth.
They were 100,000 years older than Earth. As part of a plan to establish
new habitable planets in a shrinking universe with already too few
friendly environments and too much overpopulation, they empowered the
human Norman Walters to create these new worlds with his mind. Whenever
people yelled at him he experienced a psychotic episode. In this state
he created new and unfortunately nightmarish worlds he was forced to
enter as Raver, a super-hero with whatever powers are needed to closely
mirror but never exceed those of the villains he unwittingly created.
(Raver#1 (fb) - BTS) - They turned Walters into the Raver and kept watch over him and his creations.
(Raver#1) - The HO were once again disappointed by another hopeless world created by Walters. Some began to question their choice to use a weak-minded human while others were sure that Raver would fix the world he had created. They were not so sure about the next time though.
(Raver#2) - The HO watched Raver create a hellish world with his tortured mind and they wondered if he would ever create paradise.
(Raver#3) - Again the HO were disappointed in a world the Raver had created. They wanted new worlds for the overpopulated could achieve a new beginning and instead got a planet filled with creatures from fairy tale and nursery rhymes. He was a complete blockhead in their opinion.

Raver was a creator-owned title published by Malibu. The writer was none other than American actor Walter Koenig, who is probably most famous for his role as Pavel Chekov on the original Star Trek (1967-1969) series.
