History: (Groot I#2 (fb) - BTS) - In Reality-51912, the counterparts of humans, Asgardians, and Watchers (but not Duckworldians) were all flora colossi, and so was Grootlactus, this world's version of Galactus.
(Groot I#2) - Grootlactus arrived to consume a world protected by Avengers and multiple other heroes. His arrival was heralded by the Watcher, and he was accompanied by his own loyal herald, the Silver Surfer. Grootlactus announced that the planet's life force would be drained of all florological life, and the heroes charged at him to defend their home.
(Groot I#2 - BTS) - These events were glimpsed in a dream by Groot of Reality-616 while he was adrift in space.
Comments: Created by Jeff Loveness and Brian Kesinger.Grootlactus is the only inhabitant of Reality-51912 whose name/alias is revealed in the story. Other characters are identified by the common aliases of their mainstream counterparts, with the minimal necessary substitution of "Groot" for "Man/Woman". Their true names and aliases remain unrevealed and are expected to be different, presumably all containing "Groot" in some form or another.
Whether the flora colossi version of Earth's Mightiest Heroes exist on this reality's Planet X or Earth itself is likewise unrevealed.
