History:
(Gravity I#1) - Ms. Edlyn was alone in her apartment
when she dropped the container of her heart medicine on the floor and
it rolled under a large cabinet. She decided not to ask the
superintendent for help because she didn't think he was a very nice
man.
Looking out her window, she saw a young man dressed as a superhero flying by. She called for help and the hero Gravity came into her apartment to see what was wrong. She explained her situation and complimented his costume for not having spikes or shoulder pads, which helped her tell he was a good guy. As Gravity used his powers to lift the cabinet and get her pills, Ms. Edlyn suffered a heart attack.
Gravity carried Ms. Edlyn to a nearby hospital emergency room, where she was taken into the care of the staff. Later, the staff reported to Gravity that, while she was not out of the woods yet, Ms. Edlyn would have died without his help.
(Gravity I#5) - Weeks later, Ms. Edlyn continued to
recover in hospital. Greg Willis, who was secretly Gravity, visited to
check in on her.
Ms. Edlyn was the first person Gravity saved as a superhero without something going wrong, such as the ones who threatened to sue for emotional damage or complained that he was ruining their fur coat.
This profile was completed on 03/09/2026 but its
publication was delayed, as it was intended for the Appendix's 25th
anniversary celebratory event.
