dove_soldiers-ace-mm6 DOVE SOLDIERS

Membership: Farcus, Jo-Jo, Kozinski

Purpose: Field agents of ACE (Asuza Cynergetic Engineering) Corporation

Aliases: None

Affiliations: ACE Corporation (notably Mr. Thule)

Enemies: Motormouth (Harley Davis);
    presumably others

Base of Operations: Unspecified location on Matricca Scoppio, on the outer rim of the Crab Nebula

First Appearance: Motormouth & Killpower#6 (November, 1992)

Powers/Abilities: The Dove Soldiers were well-built and carried a variety of firearms and bladed weapons. They were presumably experienced and skilled warriors.

However, they were not given the opportunity to demonstrate any fighting abilities.

They were able to escape and/or survive a rockslide/avalanche.

They all wore what appeared to be protective eyewear, presumably due to the desert environment's sun and sand.

History:
(
Motormouth & Killpower#1 (fb) - BTS / Motormouth & Killpower#7 (fb) - BTS) - On Matricca Scoppio, the ACE Corporation developed the phase unit technology, which was stolen by Mys-Tech Warheads.

(Motormouth & Killpower#1 (fb) - BTS) - Mys-Tech designated the phase unit technology as MOPED (Mind Operated PErsonal Dematerialization) units.

(Motormouth & Killpower#6 - BTS) - Motormouth and Killpower, who had received the MOPED units and who were investigating its origins, traveled to Matricca Scoppio, where their technology was detected by ACE Corporation agents. After Killpower had been abducted by Psycho-Wraiths sent by Mys-Tech, his dropped MOPED unit was recovered by Motormouth.

ACE's Mr. Thule appreciated that the girl had both MOPED units, and he ordered the Dove Soldiers to confront her.

(Motormouth & Killpower#6) - As Motormouth prepared to transport back  to Earth to rescue Killpower, the Dove Soldiers intercepted her, and Kozinski told her "You ain't going nowheres, no-how!" He further told her that the three of them were there to escort her back to Mr. Asuza's electronic emporium. When Motormouth asked who they were, Kozinski told her that they were the Dove Soldiers, and that she should be happy they did not send the psychotic Bad Boys.

(Motormouth & Killpower#7) - As the other male (Farcus?) advanced on her, Kozinski asked Motormouth if she was going to come quietly or whether they would have to sweep her up and take her back in a bag. Motormouth considered that she could not blast all three of them at once, she instead released a sonic shout that caused a rockslide. As all three Dove Soldiers cried out in confusion, they were trapped by the rockslide, which Motormouth narrowly avoided.

(Motormouth & Killpower#7 (fb) - BTS) - The Dove Soldiers escaped the rocks/rubble.

(Motormouth & Killpower#7) - After Motormouth had encountered and escaped the Bad Boys, she ran into the Dove Soldiers upon departing what was presumably an ACE Corporation base. Farcus(?) noted with surprise that she was still here, and she mockingly told them that their boss had developed a terminal migraine (she had blown his head off with her sonic powers) before teleporting back to Earth.

Comments: Created by Graham Marks, Gary Frank, Dave Taylor, and Cam Smith under the Marvel UK imprint.

The Dove Soldiers may have been solid warriors, but they didn't get a chance to do anything. Motormouth buried them with a rockslide when they first confronted her, and she teleported away when she ran into them again.

The images from Motormouth & Killpower#6 are much higher quality than those in #7, which really don't add anything. The scene with her causing the rockslide is virtually unintelligible. So the two connected images in the profile are all you need and all you'll get.

Motormouth's powers were not known to the ACE Corporation, and so the Dove Soldiers had no idea of what to expect before she caused the rockslide.

This profile was completed 09/11/2021, but its publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 25th anniversary 's celebratory event to represent Motormouth's stories and characters.

CLARIFICATIONS:
The Dove Soldiers have no known connections to

Farcus

dove_soldiers-ace-mm6-farcas-main-face
Short (perhaps 5'6" as he looked just a little taller than the 5'4" Motormouth), broad/stocky, muscular, and swarthy, Farcus has a black mustache and goatee, but wears dark eyeglasses and a bandanna over his (possibly bald) head.

He carried a large gun slung across his back and wore a bandoleer full of artillery shells as well as some sort of bladed weapon in a belt holster.

He rushed to be the first to assault Motormouth, but she caused the rockslide that buried him and his allies before he could do anything more than cry out in confusion.

Note: Only Kozinski's identity was confirmed. I am ASSuming that Farcus is the other male and Jo-Jo is the female, but that is unconfirmed.

Jo-Jo

dove_soldiers-ace-mm6-jojo-main-face     Scantily clad but wearing sun/wind glasses and some sort of cloak/headdress which continued into a cape, she appeared to have at least three bladed weapons attached to the sash about her waist.

     She wore forearm shields.

She looked like she could be close 5'10" or 6' tall.

She did not get the chance to do much other than react with surprise when Motormouth caused the rockslide.

Kozinski

dove_soldiers-ace-mm6-kozclosedove_soldiers-ace-mm6-koz-main-face     The spokesman of the group, he appeared to be perhaps 6'10" to 7' tall.

He carried a hand-held gun and at least one holstered bladed weapon on his belt, as well as bandoleer full of artillery shells and some sort of arm shield on his right arm.

He also wore protective eyewear, a scarf-like cloth around his neck with which he could presumably wrap his face as needed

He had what looked liked a gold-tooth, apparently in place of a right maxillary incisor.

He may have sheved the hair off of the sides and back of his head like some overgrown mohawk, or that may have been his natural hair pattern.
