Powers/Abilities: Doom is a genius scientist who considers himself master of all fields. His inventions include time travel, autonomous robotic Doombots, and his own armored battlesuit.
Doom's armor grants him superhuman strength, force fields, and energy projection. It also houses a device for absorption and transfer of energies.
Doom is an adept sorcerer with a
lifetime of mystical training. However, after the change in the nature
of magic in his reality, he became powerless.
He was able to access magic again after traveling into the past of another reality, using it to create sophisticated illusions and to teleport himself away.

History: (Iron Man: Fatal Frontier Infinite Comic#9 (fb) - BTS) - Doctor Doom was the ruler of his home country of Latveria. He frequently battled heroes of his world, such as Iron Man, Mister Fantastic and Ant-Man.
(Iron Man: Fatal Frontier Infinite Comic#10 (fb) - BTS) - Long ago, Doom used his inventions to steal the power of the Silver Surfer.
(Iron Man: Fatal Frontier Infinite Comic#9 (fb) - BTS) - At one point Doom observed an opportunity to obtain infinite power but was too distracted by his foes to capitalize on it. He sent Doombots in his place, squandering the rare chance, of which he made a note in his diaries.
(Iron Man: Fatal Frontier Infinite Comic#9 (fb)) - An event called the "Day of the Demiurge" fundamentally altered the nature of magic in Reality-13859. Doom found himself powerless, and his people in Latveria lost their faith in him, leading to a series of calamities. The entire population abandoned Latveria, and Doom did nothing to stop them. Remembering the opportunity lost in the past, Doom found the exact date in his diaries.
(Iron Man: Fatal Frontier Infinite Comic#10 (fb) - BTS) - Careful not to entangle his own timeline or endanger his own existence, Doom traveled into the past and sideways, arriving in Reality-616.
(Iron Man: Fatal Frontier Infinite Comic#4 (fb) - BTS) - Doom arrived on the Moon at the time where humanity had a habitat there, a city of ten thousands with the purpose to research and mine phlogistone, a uniquely poweful energy source that was Doom's objective. Many countries had embassies in the Tranquility Gulch, and that of Latveria was staffed entirely by Doombots due to Doom's own past oversight. Doom blended in among Doombots to avoid the attention of Tony Stark, United Nations-appointed governor and peacekeeping envoy of the settlement.
(Iron Man: Fatal Frontier Infinite Comic#10 (fb) - BTS) - What Doom knew that the others did not was that properly channeling phlogistone energies into iron ore would convert it into more phlogistone, violating the law of the conservation of energy because the process was alchemic and not scientific in nature. Doom planned to keep generating more phlogistone and taking its power through his armor until he became godlike.
(Iron Man: Fatal Frontier Infinite Comic#4 (fb)) - Iron Man visited Latverian Embassy as part of the regular check-in and was received by five identical-looking Dooms. Stark assumed them all to be Doombots, and Doom let him believe that, patiently waiting for Stark to make the mistakes known to Doom from his own future.
(Iron Man: Fatal Frontier Infinite Comic#7) - Doom observed Stark walking towards an impending disaster and declared that it was time to act.
(Iron Man: Fatal Frontier Infinite Comic#8) - Pressured by his associates in the Circle, a group of Symkarian mercenaries opposed to Doom, Tony Stark revoked Latverian mining and residential clearances, ordering them to vacate the Moon. The Doombots defended the Embassy with force, while Doom himself infiltrated the workshop of Stark who was coordinating the attack remotely. Doom cut off Stark's communications and used force fields to extract him from the Iron Man armor and restrain him. As Stark realized that he was not dealing with a Doombot, Doom attributed his own successes to magic.
(Iron Man: Fatal Frontier Infinite Comic#9) - Doom used magic to show Stark a vision of Reality-25315. In it, Stark had sacrificed himself to save Ho Yinsen, who led the world into an era of peace. Doom claimed that all great magic required sacrifice and that without Yinsen's sacrifice to save Stark, his Iron Man armor would not have worked. After deducing that Doom was from a future, Stark used S.H.I.E.L.D. interrogation techniques to prod him for information, which confirmed that he was trapped inside an illusion. With Stark ceased to believe, the power of Doom's illusion was broken. Stark suited up, and Doom attacked him with an energy blast.
(Iron Man: Fatal Frontier Infinite Comic#10) - Neither Doom nor Iron Man could breach the other's shields. Stark attempted to close the range and hit Doom with his fists, but Doom fooled him with illusions again and kept landing hits himself. Stark rapidly extended his force field's range, pushing Doom back hard enough to loosen a tooth. Doom gloated about the genius of his plan and hit Iron Man with an enhanced blast that penetrated and damaged his armor. Stark launched remote-controlled gauntlets which penetrated Doom's shields and grabbed him by the throat before their induction fields completely drained the power of Doom's armor. Doom admitted his defeated and teleported away, leaving his depowered armor behind.
(Iron Man: Fatal Frontier Infinite Comic#11 - BTS) - Stark collected Doom's armor, disabled its security measures, and recovered its power draining device to deal with the phlogistone.
(Iron Man: Fatal Frontier Infinite Comic#13 (fb)) - Tony Stark remembered Doom saying that the power of phlogistone would make him a god before choosing to vent it safely into space.

Doom's eyes are colored blue in issues #4 and #8, green in #7, and brown in #9 and #10. As he is a future version of Earth-616 Doctor Doom whose eyes are brown per Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A to Z#3 (2008), the other colors are presumed to be an error.
When originally released, Infinite Comics used dynamic elements for transitions between the panels. That presentation format is no longer supported, so page and panel count for images is done using the current, static versions.
