Powers/Abilities: A novice/would-be sorcerer, Chad had the means and rudimentary knowledge to purchase an occult item from a demon.

    Distraught and inconsolable after his girlfriend left him, Chad was willing to use a mystic item (specifically what appeared to be a part of a demon's finger) to try to accomplish, heedless of the risks of doing so.

    As one of the "chick-demons," Chad tended to attack anyone in his vicinity. He presumably could deliver some scratches with his talons and beak, but the actual damage he could inflict is unrevealed.

History:

(Hallow's Eve: The Big Night#1 (fb) - BTS) - Chad's girlfriend, Evelyn, broke up with him the night before Halloween (October 31).

    Chad resolved to use magic to create the perfect woman to make Evelyn jealous, believing that "then she'll totally get back together with me."

    At some point -- either before or after this resolution -- Chad bought what appeared to be the tip of a demon (or some other being)'s finger on eWay from a demon from limbo (aka Otherplace). The demon told Chad that the finger was very powerful and could grant one wish.

    At some point, Chad learned some sort of mystic incantation.

Hallow's Eve: The Big Night#1) <Halloween/October 31> - While his roommate was out, Chad borrowed three of his robes that he used for his Dungeons and Dragons club, and he had his friends Armand and Ken over to help him perform an unspecified mystic ritual to help regain Evelyn. When Armand sneezed, Ken said, "Bless You," and Chad chided Ken for using a blessing that would disrupt their incantation. Armand apologized, but Ken told Chad to chill out, and he suggested that they just go to the party. Ken further told Chad that no one was going to care if he didn't have a date, and that neither he nor Armand had dates either.

    After Armand smelled the robe and queried where Chad had got them, and he answered that but stated that he could not go to the party without Evelyn as if her saw her there, it would be a disaster. He continued that he didn't think that it would come to this, but that he had to bring out the big guns. He then explained his plans, showed them the mystic digit he had obtained and explained how he had gotten it. Both Armand and Ken were in support of this plan, and Ken replied, "Bring on the chicks." The three young men repeated the ritual, this time with the mystic digit.

    This profile was completed 05/07/2026, but its publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 25^th anniversary 's celebratory event.

Presumably a student at Empire State University, Armand was friends with Ken and Chad, the latter of whom he agreed to help perform a mystic ritual in order to help Chad regain his girlfriend, Evelyn, who had broken up with him the night before.      With the trio wearing Chad's roommates Dungeons and Dragons club robes, Armand sneezed (presumably from something on the robes), and Ken said, "Bless you," which caused Chad to stop and chide Ken for disrupting the ritual with a blessing.      When Armand admitted that it was kind of messed up that Evelyn had broken up with him just before the biggest night of the year, Ken asked if he would rather that Evelyn had done it at the party.      Initially grossed out by the mystic digit Chad showed them, Armand whole-heartedly approved after Chad detailed its powers and his plan.      As a result, he was transformed into a "chick demon" along with Chad and Ken, and they attacked Hallow's Eve (in Hulk-esque form) after she came to Chad's room. Eve captured them and brought them to the Limbo Embasy, where they attacked the demons who took them in. --Hallow's Eve: The Big Night#1 Note: Possessing black hair and brown eyes like Chad, Armand was recognizable with having his hair up a little and more styled (and his chick demon form had the same hair style), as opposed to Chad's straight hair that hung down on his forehead a bit.
