Powers/Abilities: Tybok is a martial arts expert trained in the use of traditional weapons (presumably Chinese) and hand to hand combat.
As Bloodlust he wore a high-tech armor that granted him a variety of abilities, including increased strength and supranormal durability against physical harm. The armor could reflect lasers with ease and was armed with energy blasters fired from the gloves and wrist cannons that fired small explosive projectiles. It also had the power to teleport the wearer across the globe. It unfortunately could only sustain power for one hour and would automatically teleport the wearer back to his original location after the time ran out.

History:
(Ferret II#5 (fb) - BTS) - Tybok's father, who was also part of the Blue
Light assassin cult, was killed by Amazing Man decades ago.
Tybok was trained as an assassin by the Blue Light with traditional weapons.
(Ferret II#5) - Tybok got himself a high-tech armor to replace his traditional garb and use it to avenge his father's death by killing Amazing Man. He dubbed himself Bloodlust, which his teacher considered an impressive name. His teacher also liked his look, but not the fact that Tybok was using modern technology instead of traditional weapons. Despite his misgivings about the technology, Tybok's teacher ultimately gave him the blessing to go after Amazing Man and avenge his father. Bloodlust then teleported to the Protectors' headquarter, the decommissioned liberty ship U.S.S. Jefferson.
(Ferret II#5 - BTS) - Moments after Bloodlust had left the cult's master, the Great Question, stormed into the temple looking for him to prevent him from killing Amazing Man because the Great Question needed the supranormal hero to die at a certain point. He was enraged that Bloodlust had already left to kill Amazing Man and swore to destroy the temple in retaliation for ruining his plans. Bloodlust's teacher told the Great Question about the flaw in Bloodlust's armor that could only sustain his power for an hour before teleporting him back to the temple. The Great Question hoped that Amazing Man could hold Bloodlust off for that long, but made it clear that he would show no mercy to the Blue Light if Bloodlust succeeded in killing Amazing Man.
(Ferret II#5) - The intruder alert went off inside the U.S.S. Jefferson while Ferret looked after the injured Amazing Man. Bloodlust was still dizzy after teleportation and knew that he only had one hour to finish his goal, but he was opposed by the Ferret. Bloodlust introduced himself because he believed Ferret should know the name of the man that would kill him, but the fight didn't go as planned for Bloodlust. Despite his superior strength due to the armor, the Ferret was more agile and faster and could easily hold his own against Bloodlust. Even though he was just there to kill Amazing Man, Bloodlust eventually decided to kill Ferret first because he just wouldn't shut up and let him through. Ferret's claws couldn't get through Bloodlust's armor though and that fact surprised Ferret long enough for Bloodlust to hit him with several punches. With 47 minutes left, Bloodlust shot rockets at Ferret to kill him and not waste any more time, but Ferret just vanished into thin air. Bloodlust took that as a victory and was now ready to go after Amazing Man.
(Ferret II#6) - Bloodlust easily went through the U.S.S. Jefferson's internal defenses systems, including lasers that were reflected by his armor. The maze-like structure of the ship cost Bloodlust a lot of time. With 13 minutes left Bloodlust finally had the idea to plug in his armor to the ship's monitor system and found Amazing Man unconscious in the infirmary. He anticipated an easy target, but then Ferret reappeared and continued his battle with Bloodlust. Bloodlust tried to get to Amazing Man, but Ferret kept him busy and hampered his approach to the infirmary. Bloodlust finally got rid of Ferret with an energy blast and a knockout punch. He made it inside the infirmary and was going to crush Amazing Man, but Ferret got in his way once again and despite taking a beating, hindered Bloodlust's killing blow long enough for the timer to run out and teleport Bloodlust back to the Blue Light's temple in the Himalayas. He swore that he would return and kill Ferret and Amazing Man the next time. Upon arriving at the temple Bloodlust mourned the failure of his mission, but the Great Question was actually glad that he did because otherwise he would have had to answer to him. Bloodlust kneeled before the Great Question and apologized for his offence and asked for forgiveness, which the Great Question granted him. The Great Question made it clear that Bloodlust would only serve his will from this day on.

The Great Question was not only the ultimate supervillain on Earth-1136, but also Amazing Man (John Aman)'s nemesis in his original Golden Age stories published by Centaur in Amazing Man Comics#5-26 (September, 1939 - January, 1942).
On Earth-1136 superhumans were called supranormals. Was he one as well? His eyes say yes, but he needed that armor to compete with one. Maybe a low level supranormal due to some supernatural aspect connected to his training.
