Powers/Abilities: In his original body, Batroc was a trained acrobat, able to achieve near-superhuman feats of strength, agility, and most notably leaping.

   After hijacking Spider-Man's body, Batroc gained access to all of his powers, including superhuman strength, agility, and reflexes.

    He nonetheless preferred to continue leaping everywhere instead of web-swinging.

   He is proficient in multiple forms of unarmed combat and with multiple types of weapons.

History: (Marvel Super-Heroes: What The--?! web series episode "The Inferior Spider-Man" (fb) - BTS) - Under unrevealed circumstances, Batroc the Leaper managed to switch bodies with Spider-Man, assuming his life and identity. However, he continued leaping everywhere instead of web-swinging.

(Marvel Super-Heroes: What The--?! web series episode "The Inferior Spider-Man") - Captain America was fighting A.I.M. agents, some of whom were getting away. Spider-Man leapt onto the scene and offered to leap after them, failing to properly mask his French accent while doing so. Captain America asked why couldn't he swing after the A.I.M. agents instead, but Spider-Man insisted that web-swinging was in the past and he was now only leaping.

(Marvel Super-Heroes: What The--?! web series episode "The Inferior Spider-Man" - BTS) - These events were imagined by Batroc of Earth-93342 after learning that Doctor Octopus had been inhabiting the body of his reality's Spider-Man for nearly a year.

   "Marvel Super-Heroes: What The--?!" was a Youtube comedic series produced by Marvel Entertainment which followed the tradition of "What The--?!" comics and depicted Marvel characters in short humorous sketches no more than five minutes long. Each episode was filmed using stop-motion animation, using officially released action figures and occasionally supplemented by additional visual effects. The full episode is available here.
